I understand the push back from women in these comments but 29% of us (black community) are married - 69% of divorces are filed by women and 90% of divorces are filed by women in couples where the woman is college educated. All I can say is that alot of men in these "men" in the comment section aren't even my type, so there's no reason to get mad. I look at the words and how they speak about women in general and that alone let's me know the warped perspective of alot of men. I may not be a virgin but I'll tell you this I refused to have a kid by a man before I'm married. I never been desperate for a man or to have kids so its gonna be what is gonna be. I live in NYC and honestly the quality of "men" that are out here is horrible they don't have careers they have to many children from different mothers. I myself am 33 my own place no kids by choice. I have yet to meet a man on my level or better with or without kids that can communicate effectively. Alot of men my age can't even date properly or even know how to please a woman intimately in the first place. I'm definitely not rushing marriage. There have women such as myself that have been will to work with men and build. I never dated thugs or drug dealers. What I have realized is that alot of people don't know how to put in that WORK for a relationship period. I think people have devalued the convenant of marriage. It also depends on your experience with marriage. He has his viewpoints and he has a right to not get married. There are so many people who have been married for years and have been extremely happy through ups and the downs. It is a decision and a commitment. At the end of the day people get married and people get divorced. We have not only a warped view of marriage, but relationship dynamics are terrible in world culture period. There are so many great examples of thriving relationships (even with ups and downs), but we often base our experiences in what we've seen. If we look at marriage solely from a business or what benefits me standpoint then don't get married. If you look at it from a spiritual standpoint to glorify God together in unity then you defy those odds. There will always be divorce in this world, but we have to stop looking to culture for the way to go. We need to look at the way do relationships period.

65% of all marriages end in divorce. The rest have people who stay together for kids etc, not love. 70% are initiated by women. Women who are college educated initiate divorce 90% of the time. If a women makes more money than her husband, she intiates the divorce 85% of the time. Women with more than 7 sexual partners prior to marriage are 60% more likely to initiate divorce than women that had less than 3 sexual partners.
There is anecdotal experience, then there are facts and statistics, the accumulation of each individual experience to show what is really happening. Only a fool would marry knowing these numbers. And I didn't even go into division of assets and children, it would blow your mind.

In order to understand why divorces are so high we must understand why people divorce in the first place. Nowadays, people don’t get married with the goal to grow, build and conquer together(Kings and Queens). There’s a lot of work that has to be done from both parties BEFORE they even think about marriage.Red flags can also prevent you from a lot of headaches. And lets be honest it takes more than 1-2 years to know someone. An ambitious man needs a woman with the same vision.
From what I’m getting from the video is that basically the guess doesn’t want to get married because he wants to keep his options open and not loss his money in the process.
Our generation is so used to walking away from relationships at the first sign of trouble that nobody is actually putting in the work or wants to think long term. The right woman will be an asset to a man’s life, and that’s what most fail to realize.

The lawyer will then explain in detail what the document is and that she understands what she is signing. The signing should be video/audio recorded to prove no coercion or manipulation took place.

The concept of being legally married began in a time period where women couldn’t work, own property, vote, or do anything without the assistance of a man. They needed alimony because they most likely wouldn’t have been able to provide for themselves if their husband decided to divorce them. Nowadays that isn’t the case.
There is no reason why a woman should be entitled to any of your money after a divorce if she’s an able bodied member of society that can make her own money, own her own home, and get remarried as many times as she wants without consequence.
