Castiel (Misha Collins) helps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) hunt down Cupid (guest star Lex Medlin) on Valentine's Day after townspeople start to kill each other for love. However, after Cupid tells them he's innocent, they discover Famine (guest star James Otis), one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, has arrived in town. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

Sam: "So, you're not into bars full of lonely women?"
Dean: "I guess not. What?"
Sam: "It's when a dog doesn't eat. That's when you know something's really wrong."
Dean: "Remarkably patronizing concern, dually noted. Nothing's wrong. We gonna work or what?"
our dean is growing up :sigh: and he's got a broken heart :(
what happens next
:(enter cas stage left) as Dean set eyes upon his beloved resulting in a smile that lights up the room.
:Cas, yet not affected by cupids spell is ignorant as to why dean has suddenly leaped from the chair and is now sensually stroking his thigh. But decides to take this as yet another human action that he does not yet understand.
:(Cut to sam) Catching flies as his jaw dropped in amazement. He then gets his pout on when he realizes that his own love for Cas is futile

these two are majic on screen..do they even know their suppose to be acting..its all so natural.
Sam: "Not much more we can do tonight. Alright, I'm just gonna go through some files. You can go ahead and get going."
Dean: "Sorry?"
Sam: "Go ahead, unleash the 'Kraken'. See you tomorrow morning."
Dean: "Where am I going?"
Sam: "Dean, it's Valentines Day. Your favorite holiday, remember? What do you always call it? Uh ... unattached-drifter-Christmas?"
Dean: "Ah, yeah. Be that as it may, I don't know. Guess I'm not feeling it this year."
Oh my God! That's exactly what I said to my friend when we finished watching the clip.
Hell, Michael himself told Dean it was destiny and free will is an illusion, evrything is planned out and the choice was already made. Even though they haven't made it yet. Michael and Castiel are my favorite Angels. Cas is hilarious sometime and ALWAYS calm. Michael is a badass.

That'd be ironic, but I think he got over her pretty fast when she tried to kill him and his parents.
