- Seen this van parked up on the public footpath, so thought I'd ask why he's parked on path and hidden from view.

Theres a few things to add to this but first thing is to realise we as a people are to blame for our own stupidity for not understanding the Law

2. In their road safety rules they should not operate on an incline
3 or on a bend
4 the angle of that camera to the raod would not give a true accurate speed reading
5. And this is the biggest crime they commit ,which is fraud
They are pretending to be Police Constables and falsely issuing their paperwork as if they have the authority of the PSNI

Standing in front of the camera cant be described as interfering in this case. its a public footpath, stand where you like.
Aye, you can look at it the other way around. The eejit in the van is obstructing the public footpath. If his van gets scratched up by someone going past with a pram or in a wheelchair, or anything like that, it's his doing. Should be on the road not the footpath.
He's acting as a revenue collector and not a speed deterrent.

Hidden and parked illegally so you can only see him at the very last second so even those who are not speeding automatically hit the brake pedal as a natural reaction - if/when this spy van illegal revenue collector is the cause of an accident will he be imprisoned for murder if any die in the accident he is the cause of.

Yeah I didn't stop him from doing his job, we had a conversation off camera and he said himself that I wasn't interference with the van or anything else, so why did he phone the cops.. The cops drove past 3times...He's always parked there usually closer to the wall.

Now I have a complaint with the met in London. I have reason to believe they have had to go to barristers to get legal advice.
They had police parking on double reds to --- wait for it --- parking on double reds.
The College of Policing is clear, basic police drivers MUST obey the highway code at all times. This was a basic police driver. [I've that on video, and he had his BWV on].
Second before the complaint, I FOI'd the Met to ask if they had any regulations that were different from the College Of Policing Gold Standard. [a turn of phrase designed to get the right answer]. They said no differences but they were considering a change for pursuit drivers. Ok, so not for basic drivers.
So the complaint went in. I've chopped off the obvious escape.
So because the officers were rude, I asked for him to be fined. A proportionate response in line with their code of ethics to treat people equally.
I also asked for the memo to go out to all drivers in the met reminding them of their obligations.
Lastly, that each review, they read and sign a statement to the effect they have read and understood the law. This is standard practice for bankers for example. Again proportionate.
You have to read the rules, the law, and the code of ethics. Then you can cause real problems for them. I think this year I just fail to reach 10 complaints upheld in my favour. 5% of the Mets total complaints

Brilliant pal keep at them. Yeah there a law onto them self's. The people need to wakeup and stand up to these laws. If u don't fight u lose simple.. But they have been getting away with all sorts of crimes against the people for decades, this needs to stop, the only weapons we have is knowlage and the camera, 👍 staysafe out there and thank you for the information 👌💯❤️

In parts of England, they sit in the roadworks contraflow with grey vans. And that's roadworks that have avrage speed cams. It's all about revenue, nothing to do with saftey.
the amount of cars i see parking on the pavements these days is a disgrace, its an offence to have all 4 wheels on the pavement, its for pedestrians not for cars, but what gets done about it, nothing
When out running the amount of times my elbow "accidentally" clatters a wing mirror on a car obstructing the pavement is unfortunate...

This just proves what everyone knows that it is all about money not safety, if the Police had turned up earlier you would have been the one at fault for something or other, they are good at that.

I don't know if the law is different for camera vans, but I think police can hide in the bushes and catch you speeding, and don't have to warn that there a speed trap
Read it after seeing a cop car on one side of a bridge, whilst hidden the other side, on the bridge beside the bushes with a hand held device pointing it at cars.
No definitely not in full view they should be parked on hard surfaces and not damaged the grass area . They should be charged to have it put right

Yes he’s illegally parked. I received a parking ticket in the city where I live for putting two wheels on the pavement despite the fact that my vehicle would have completely blocked the road had I have parked “legally” on the road. I tackled the traffic warden about the ticket and she told me I was completely obstructing the pavement despite the fact that two people stood side by side could have walked safely past my vehicle. The rules are manipulated by those who enforce them to suit their own agenda.

I’m starting to think that the way to defeat these cameras is for every driver that sees one to double back and drive the route again at 15mph thus contributing to road safety by slowing everyone down. As the number of prosecutions fall the police will have to declare the road safer…

I'm our local speed cameras guys best friend after I was called ( as a recovery operator ) to tow him out from where he had got stuck on a wet grass verge. ( I was in two minds whether to just push him in further! )

Get onto the road safety department and report him, the PSNI put a statement out, saying that they should be visible to incoming traffic and if there not, to contact the PSNI and report it. Unlawfully parked and hidden, so I would say if he tickets anyone it would be unlawful, cheers for watching 👍

OMG beggars belief! what is this country coming to and well done for getting this vehicle shifted but I bet he/she wont get a fine or endorsement.
If you were to park there, you would get a ticket and probably towed, not only was parked on or near a public walkway, he had to drive drive on it as well as a public recreational area, where children could playing.
There is also meant to be a clearly dispayed sign at the roadside warning motorists that surveillance footage is being gathered to enforce speeding offences. They can either be signs permananetly affixed to lamposts etc, or a portable temporary sign.
A criminal offence we the people would not get away with this one law for them and one for us two teir system.

No indicators whilst turning left at the junction, obstructing the public highway, both whilst parked and upon the highway whilst shutting the door. Leaving the vehicle running when exiting the vehicle for a period of time (environmental act) (when shutting the door) no seatbelt whilst the engine is running (getting out of the vehicle to close the door) same law as using a mobile phone with keys in the ignition... driving a vehicle with a door open (driving with undue care and attention) Endangering the lives of others on the public highway by not checking the vehicle before moving off after driving offroad. (Wreckless endangerment)

unreal tbh.law in Northern ireland has got worse than i expected.
It doesn't get any better for the police, I've a trial coming up in January for disorderly, all because I was filming and the police, though they caught a terrorist (me) and went over the top and broke every rule in the book, attacked me from behind and never ID them self's, there were in plain clothes.. This video will be out after my court case... This video shows everything that happened, crazy times.. It's only a camera it shoots pics not bullets,. I`m sure if it was me driving a big van on a public footpath then that police car would have pulled me ( and rightly so ) and not just drove by.
There is not one person who doesn't break the speed limit but this private company catches a small percentage slightly over the speed limit by 7 mph and that's £87 for a driver awearness course . Don't forget this will increase your insurance by at least £100 per year for 5 years

I reckon the van has driven down the path after pulling off the main road. You can see fresh tyre marks in the grass where it's soft and drying mud left on the right of the pavement. No marks in front of the van. I wonder if G4S will reinstate any damage to the grass verge or the pavement?

They must be getting a commission for every ticket they get. They should be reported for the police for driving on a public footpath and being illegally parked. If I was to park there and go and do a job nearby, I’d probably end up being towed away. @@CJAuditsAuditingNI Thanks @user-pmurphy , I don’t know where CIA is (not bothered either) I didn’t think much of his videos, don’t get me wrong, I mean I hope he is ok but he was not an auditor, his approach had no bearing on any kind of activism, unlike CJ, myself or anyone else, the whole purpose is to protect the rights of the citizen from tyranny, be it from government, corporate, or private.
As far as myself goes, I have been dealing with some medical issues, I would love to get back out there, and maybe I will in the new year, I might do some reporting from my studio in the meantime.

Police attack me from behind and in plain clothes and don't ID,,or read me my rights, they had me on the floor for 23mins until, Police in uniform arrived and arrested me crazy times pal
