the funny thing about this video is that a ncaa player or madden player would see something like this and continue to play the game and even purchase the next release.
See, my problem isn't with this game having bugs... It's with how this game naturally plays, is what mainly bothers me. If this game played the way a modern football sim should play, in this generation of gaming, I would totally excuse the occasional bug or glitch.
I haven’t played this game in months, and likely won’t play it again. It sucks and I won’t be getting another one until I see some actual change. I still blame 2k for this. They totally botched it not making a college football game this year.
The saddest thing about it is you really are just paying to be a beta tester the entire season that it’s out it sucks so bad that you can’t see trophies in your trophy case they don’t have rankings in team stats or player stats. Your recruits all show that their field generals and don’t show you the different archetypes of your players on the other teams and recruiting makes no sense whatsoever on this game just pushing a bunch of buttons and hoping for the best

Yep! The CPU abuses the heck out of middle crossing routes. They also get superior pass blocking and have all day to throw unlike the user. They also rarely drop passes when catching in traffic.
@ yes !! You can shade inside , man or zone , fast corners , and your DBs will still have weird animations and stop or do a whole 360 leading to the WR getting open. I will say if you QB contain with decent DEs and blitz you can get home a good amount. Run blocking for CPU is extremely broken and you need exceptional players and or run commit but if you do that the pass is wide open . Pick your poison 😭
I'm sure the excuse from the shills is "You didn't hold your ear right" or "it's just a game, it isn't meant to be perfect" when none of us are asking for perfection. The whole argument of games not being perfect to excuse gameplay issues goes back to when Smitty and Sim were Gamechangers and taunted people with "if you aren't willing to wait while Madden is improving, go contact 2K about making a game" as if wanting a game to be what it is sold as is somehow this impossible thing.

I sank hundreds of hours into NCAA12 and NCAA14 because I felt immersed. I was able to do deep dives on players, teams, and get a preview of every game with the push of a button and they just... got rid of that. The lack of a good UI system is inexcusable to me. You have the code. I know you know how to do it. It's the little things that make the difference, and unfortunately it seems to me they decided that "little things" is half baked sideline animations, and not actually making the game palatable. I can only assume it's to money gouge the player base when they say "oh don't worry, it'll be better next year." It won't be. F*** EA. Don't buy from them.
Because EA wants money. Money they get from Madden Ultimate Team. Which is conveniently in CFB25. Almost like they only care about taking your money. Why do you think the Dead Space remake "failed" when it was fucking awesome? Man, thank God for creators like Ryan Moody. Year after year EA gets away releasing with a half-finished, lazily thrown together rendition of what used to be the greatest sports gaming franchise ever made. And year after year the entire community takes the bait. From casual gamers to content creators everyone buys into the mentality of “maybe they fixed it this year… maybe they finally got it right” and without fail are sorely disappointed. The harsh reality is that until a legitimate competitor hits the market, nothing is going to change- we as a community are never going to boycott this franchise because we love football too damn much.
my biggest issue with college 25 is every 2-3 games of dynasty are completely scripted for the player to lose... You can win if you go into a complete no huddle two minute drill mode without turning into a turnover machine.
It won't be. I was hopeful as well until they kept stalling the release of it for over 2-3 years. Then you got these dev video updates which never actually showed gameplay. Then the demo dropped and it played like hot garbage and still had some of the same problems the previous games had, especially the secondary coverage on deep passes. Then right before the game goes early access, they FINALLY announce their price points....for a free game. Then they announce that play action, screen plays, and option plays aren't actually in the game...but should be in 2-3 years. The pro version of the game isn't in the game, and won't be for about a year when (if) the game comes to consoles. And guess what folks, the pro version of the game doesn't come with the free version. That's a PAID version only option as it stands.
can we talk about the AI just straight cheats to get a certain outcome. When you throw the ball all players on the field adjust to find the ball. EVEN IN MAN

I literally got bored with it. The entire game is recruit, then play....where the gameplay is buggy and broken. And why do the FBS teams call hurry up offence on every play?

I haven’t got this but I got the center leaving the ball on the ground and I have seen the qb option glitch you can tell it was about to be thrown pass the hb the ball dribbled off the ground the play was called dead and the offense gets an automatic first down 😂 I’ll just wait to National champ and Super Bowl time to play this it’s gone be broke that long
on the Next Madden release my studio will be ready to launch our own american football game, codename project waterboy. -Everything is fictional and as customizable as NBA 2k and other sports games including the stadium creator where you can copy what the rams did. -The salary cap is based on the MLB salary cap so it will be super realistic but fun. -The money you make on a contract you can use to buy homes, investment, and other stuff giving your contract money a real purpose

This game had a lot of potential but the QB scrambling any time they want especially vs Alabama I’m switching back to madden. You can put 10 spy’s QB contain doesnt matter they will run with the QB and defenders will just look at them get the first down. No skill.
Ohh let me add....... i do think EA got lazy alil with the small details of CFB outside of the in game stuff...... so example........ when im looking through the award finalist or Heisman list of players, etc etc, there is no option to open up the players card, or it doesnt show any stats, that iam aware of... Like the section of best offensive player, best defensive players list, or top QBs top linebackers.... if u scroll to any of the players, u cant open their player card up to see how they are doing stat wise, the dont even show stats...even a small sample on the page anywhere, when scrolling through the names, so then u have to remember the team and player name and then go find them... SMH
I stopped gaming simply because the games quality has dropped SO much. I used to LOVE playing sports games but they are all so bad now. Then throw in their politicizing it as well with that BLM garbage it was the final straw. You play these games to escape the real world not add to the stress.
It’s a computer program!! It will never be perfect. Never seen this happen, wouldn’t even know how to recreate it. I have spent many hours playing and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I, and millions of others are fully aware how bad EA is as a company and how bad their football games are. I personally feel this is way better than ncaa 14. Don't forget how bad the players run and played without editing players. The only thing better was the recruitment and the road to glory. Everything else is hands down better. Half the time in ncaa 14 the crowd wouldn't even cheer when you just broke a 60yrd run
so I get that there are bugs, but I've played A TON of CFB25, and i've never seen this. i get that if it happens it sucks, but the thing i've seen thats the worst thing is that occasionally when you are playing RTG, and it sims you out sometimes there's a SIm issue where the game fucks up and somehow you lose even though you shouldn't have lost. Obviously everyone wants an absolute perfect game, I do too. I'm cool with holding them accountable to make real changes, but to me it seems like many of the complaints are just overhyped complaints. I know there's going to be a ton of people that come after me for my take but watching all the complaints over the years, this one seems ridiculous. I'm not saying don't make the problems known and hold them accountable to fix whatever issues come up, but it is ALWAYS "this is the worst game ever" type of complaints.

Are you ever going to attempt a single video where you propose a solution? I haven't purchased a new EA football game in over double digit years. I, and millions of others are fully aware how bad EA is as a company and how bad their football games are.
You can A-Financially benefit from the same people EA scams by making a channel dedicated only to highlighting what is bad.
OR
You can B-Try to make an actual difference for me and millions of other gamers who want to have a good American football game again and talk about actual solutions that can have some traction to it?

@hennocent They are really ruining online gaming experience. I'm about ready to say F online and go back to the games I enjoy. They won't even allow servers to remain up so people can choose how they game. Madden 16 was the last time I seen any effort. Frostbite is so malicious

I personally feel this is way better than ncaa 14. Don't forget how bad the players run and played without editing players. The only thing better was the recruitment and the road to glory. Everything else is hands down better. Half the time in ncaa 14 the crowd wouldn't even cheer when you just broke a 60yrd run

so funny the ONLY simulation football game is funny when it doesn't work XDDDD holy it will never get better..
so I get that there are bugs, but I've played A TON of CFB25, and i've never seen this. i get that if it happens it sucks, but the thing i've seen thats the worst thing is that occasionally when you are playing RTG, and it sims you out sometimes there's a SIm issue where the game fucks up and somehow you lose even though you shouldn't have lost. Obviously everyone wants an absolute perfect game, I do too. I'm cool with holding them accountable to make real changes, but to me it seems like many of the complaints are just overhyped complaints. I know there's going to be a ton of people that come after me for my take but watching all the complaints over the years, this one seems ridiculous. I'm not saying don't make the problems known and hold them accountable to fix whatever issues come up, but it is ALWAYS "this is the worst game ever" type of complaints.
