@@glowhoo9226 there is no time in dark dimension, so every time he rewinds dormammu will have previous memory, so he will get annoyed while killing him again and again. But in real world there is time. So even he rewind, thanos will just kill him again and has no previous memory and never get annoyed.

Also, it seems Strange also have the memory each rewind, it's so effortless for Dormamu to kill him, strange might actually give up earlier, not to mention he must be exhausted, and he'a mortal, I assume strange still gets old since he is sort of traveling back in time and still have his past experiences.
Dormamu could've easily manifested a prison for strange too. And livin in a timeless dimension you'd think hexd have more petience.
AND, earlier in the movie, althoigh it wasn't a loop spell, his rewind spell around his wrist broke when he fell. It seems like it was possible to break that loop spell too.

_Velocity_ held his own against four infinity stones without using ONE!!! So much more badass that Cap’s awkward hand holding with Thanos!

They've been wanting to push Scarlet Bitch for a while now and they did.

It just dawned on me that Strange must have been trapped in that moment of time with Dormammu for perhaps millions upon millions of times. You can even see in some of those instances he is fighting back, so he's been training against a literal god for who knows how many years in his time frame. Which is why in Infinity War, it was plausible for him to not only see into the multiple futures against Thanos, but endure it as well.
Dr. Strange is the strongest Avenger.

Where I live, they're having a Marvel Marathon of previously released Marvel movies. Yesterday, I saw Doctor Strange for the first time in IMAX 3-D in one of the few true IMAX theaters in the United States. My teenage son and I were blown away! The story was absorbing and the IMAX visuals and sound was stunning. This is not only a very fine film; it is now one of my favorite films of all time. If you get a chance to see it in a true IMAX theater in 3-D, don't miss it. The sanctums, dimensions, and alternate realities will open up to you like you've never experienced before!

I really do hope that they bring back Scott Derrickson for the third film. His unique visual style and cinematography is VASTLY superior to Raimi’s vision. Not to mention the fight choreography and the overall quality of CGI too.

I think Raimi did a good job with this movie because with multiverse you don’t know what to expect and since the multiverse deals with the supernatural you would see the horror implications and since Raimi is well renowned for being a horror director I think he was the best choice for it.

You can't expect the CGI to be top-tier when the entire film industry is reeling from the repercussions of the pandemic.
@@heisensama the issue isn’t just the quality of CGI but the entire direction. The first film had incredible sequences: NYC bending like inception, Strange being thrown into the astral world, kaleidoscope imagery. The sequel had almost none of it except a quick minute sequence when Strange is traveling through the multiverses.
When thanos snapped half of the universe, everyone lost their closed ones, everyone cared for someone, but no one cared for Strange :(

Spoilers for Eternals:
This is my theory why he didn't just kill Thanos, by killing Thanos he would have saved half of the people on earth but the celestial would have killed them all. Celestials need intelligent life to be born and when Thanos snapped his fingers, half of the living beings disappeared. That gave time for the Eternals to realize they have to stop the celestial from being born
It seems weird, I really think Doctor Strange has gone through all the timelines and has seen some way to beat Thanos, Thanos is not unbeatable. He chose this particular worldline because he has a bigger plan in mind.

ソナタ月光 yeah they had to nerf dr strange but taking the time stone away. If they didn’t take it away, Dr strange and the avengers could win every time. All he had to do is look into the future and know all the possibilities to coming conflict. So marvel had to give him a little nerf to make him less op, he’s still op tho just a little nerf.

The most underrated MCU movie, it was so different and it had a really beautiful theme of the meaning of life
What I wanted to see was the cape trying to wipe the dirt off Doctor Strange's face and he says, "stop it...mom!" And then grins, tilts his head to one side and gives the cloak a little kiss on one of its lapels, whispering to it, "thank you for making sure I always look my best!"
Then the cloak settles on his shoulders...ALMOST as if it were blushing and grinning from ear to ear! (If it HAD ears!)
