    Thank you - I struggled for a while, but your explanation was very good and fixed the issue. I think i started out at musescore 2 or so, a very long time along. Cheers

      Hi, I’m very glad it helped. Version 2 is quite early isn’t it. I think I started around 3.2 or so.

    I always had issues with beaming. All I do is click on everything until it looks good. 😂 😂 😂
    I’m trying this tonight.

      It is a very nice and handy feature. It is good to know that some things are simple in MuseScore. :D

      I just tried it tonight and it does work beautifully. I did know the trick of selecting notes, but why would I ever select a rest if it doesn’t make any sound. We’ve been so naive all these years. 😂

      @@ErnestoGhinaglia Exactly, that what I was thinking. So, it never once occurred to me to select the rest, which is not altered, rather than the note, which is altered. lol
