  • Welcome, I'll be going over a few graphs I use on the boat. Also some wiring tips and tricks, batteries, fuses, poles, mounts, and then some LVS32 LVS34 action. Thanks for watching.

    Great Setup. NO Sea Clear harness ever necessary and the Li Time's work just fine!.. So many argue about that. Strong work!

      Thanks Stephan, those batteries have been doing pretty good. Probably doing 3 100AH minis when my trolling motor batteries start to go. I really like all the DIY content you are putting out.

    Another good vid Carlos. The diy videos are always appreciated. As far as not getting to fish enough you just need a bud to encourage you and keep you in trouble with proper priorities 😂.

      Thanks brother, when I’m not on the water I’m always fiddling around with stuff. Had a lot of comments asking about graphs, network, and battery. Hope I answered most of them. Tight Lines!

    Great setup and well done wiring and positioning of the graphs and transducers. I run two livescopes also, an LVS-32 from the console on a GPSMAP 1243xsv and an LVS34 from the bow on a GPSMAP 1242xsv. I also run a SEELITE 2.0 Pole from the Console and a Summit Fishing Pole at the bow. Thanks for sharing. I am one of your subscribers and for quality of content you are putting out you should have about a 100,000 subscribers. 😃

    Another awesome video Carlos. I am smack dab in the middle of doing all kinds of wiring on my boat. Started with the control panel switches not working and then removing 2 network boxes and cables. Right now it's a big mess and hope to get it sorted out soon. Gonna sort out the fish finders first before I try to figure out the control panel.

    11:25 thats a cleanass wire job there buddy…..only thing I would change to make it cleaner is to put marine terminals connectors on the wires going to the power block…..but thats just me🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Hey Carlos. How useful do you find the livescope mount compared to if you had it on your trolling motor?

    • @CarlosPadillaCentex
      @CarlosPadillaCentex  9 месяцев назад +1

      I feel the pole gives you 100% control of fine adjustments needed for perfect bait placement, tracking, and fishing while spot locked. On the trolling motor is more useful for locating and chasing fish. Then casting toward the fish, but not tracking your bait perfectly. Trolling motor would work great on very light wind conditions. 5mph or less or in a cove.

    How did you come up with 1amp for gls10? Garmin says can draw up to 5amps?

    • @CarlosPadillaCentex
      @CarlosPadillaCentex  5 месяцев назад

      www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=1211713
      Most sources estimate .75 amps. Seems kind of low to me also. The fuse is 7.5 so no way it can draw 5a. People have metered it also, just going off that info.

    How are you wiring six gauge down to your 14 gauge yellow fuse holder?

    • @CarlosPadillaCentex
      @CarlosPadillaCentex  5 месяцев назад

      The 6g goes into the distribution block. I used 10g butt connectors and 10g wire crimped to the Garmin fuse end. Then 10g into the distribution block.

    Is there any problem running 106 off its on regular trolling motor battery?

    • @CarlosPadillaCentex
      @CarlosPadillaCentex  5 месяцев назад

      Kind of, I had the 106 and LVS32 connected to a lead acid house battery running pumps and lights. All it does is flicker a bit with anything running. The main thing is power draw, as long as you have a jump start device everything should be fine. Livescope will drain a battery very quickly.

    I got the lifepo 12.8v battery and the gen pro 10x1 charger do you leave it plug up all the time until its time to go to the lake. thats what I did with my other battery

    • @CarlosPadillaCentex
      @CarlosPadillaCentex  7 месяцев назад

      I think it’s better to charge it for a full day, then unplug it. Top it off before you head out next trip. There is a bms in it that has overcharge protection that can be tripped.
