A man busy doing his math. sure. but he comments that he wants two factories but only will likely ever need the one. so that tells me he at MOST needs half the workers in each. Then he tells us to carefully do the math, and he identifies it will consume 40 tons of metals over two days at 100% efficiency and that's simply not enough. Forgetting his factories are at 50-60% output at best, that he will be halving the worker pool on top of this, so two days becomes Eight days of productive storage in two factories. Then he decides he definitely needs a cargo unloading station to offload all 10 tons of steel per working day instead of accepting the truck will park up for a little while to offload. really dude? You are building presuming a 16 fold increase in consumption of mechanical components, in a republic that will run into Iron production and Coal production and Steel production issues first. I like the redundancy of twin factories, but I think the cargo offloading station sounds mad when one truck a day will be more than enough to supply a factory each based on your own math, so two into a small storage makes sense for a healthy stockpile despite construction consumption.
@@glenmcgillivray4707 I've never not made something bigger when I could...the cargo station is more for single truck distribution and symmetry than any of those maths...
In any case, when doing a twin factory setup like that, having a cargo station in the middle to mutualize the supply and demand is quite nice As thus, in this case, you could set up a single line of truck to bring steel with "wait until unload", with 1 or even 2 trucks for redundancy, and still have room for either DO or an other truck line for the components :p And oh ! If using a DO, it also makes it have only 1 entry in its list rather than 2 :)

Pls, keep the angry conection! Hahahah
Where does this road cargo station vome from? I think I only have the bottom three. But it's not modded, since there's no green arrow, right?

@@bballjo Thanks, I left the beta branch after the cable way 'desaster' and didn't think there was a point to going back after the full release.
45:59 really nice idea ngl.
@@daniil3815 it will be a very nice ride, trust me!

Labels are misleading...it's closed because it's above 15 degrees
Nice one.
