Drew the PLA in and massacred them at the right time. Deng got into hot water over the large number of casualties and had to modernise the PLA. We started the exercise in' 63 and it served us well. Those leading the PLA today are Vietnam vets so I hope the Indian miliary has a successor to Lal Quila in place.

The book solely blame politicians for the debacle of 1962 but not army top brass. Colonel's narration is great and convincing. Thanks for enlightening me. I revisited for the 2nd time. Thanks sir!

Aadi my Father fought the War in Bomdilla Arunachal! I was 10 then and our army was poorly equipped! No special clothing , no gloves ! My father a Signals person a Major was injured ! While we left Shillong in a hurry after the Chinese had reached Tezpur!

The Mitrokhin archives had revealed how most Indian politicians, bureaucrats, media etc were either on the pay of KGB or CIA. These people were never really punished for their misdeeds.

Nehru was a bad choice as PM, imposed by Charkhasur Gandhi. It's only in recent years that we are coming alive to facts. We need to know more.

😊, that war had changed India, at least 6-7 million Indian soldiers's life had been saved by China. Otherwise it wouldn't be India today.
