Krishna Menon is a very good example of not placing all the confidence in one person for all of the time . Times change, people may not be suitable for all times. 1962 was painful. My father, a civilian, used to feel it so deeply, the way our soldiers fought with minimal equipment. The pain that many of that generation felt for a very long time.

V K Krishna Menon used to give intellectual cover fire to Jawaharlal Nehru. Nehru as an intellectual dwarf was indebted to Krishna Menon in his quest to be seen as a global statesman. Menon wrote the book Discovery of India for Nehru.

This loss changed the trajectories of the both the countries. China was recognised as the major power in Asia and global stature of India was cut to size. US which used to cozy up to India till that time started to look up to China.

Aadi ji your podcast on this 1962 book of Shiv Kunslji was very good and Shiv kunalji explained the things on a correct line and length.I had wstched Shiv kunslji on this 1962 episode on Vaad also.
Since last three days I gave been watchingbthr Vaad and your chsnneks podcasts onnthese serious topics ,some of them are very old more than a year also.Very interesting and necessity also for our future generation, gennext. You rightly said tgat we grew up from school to college and then got employed for the sake of just our survival but now we are going to face difficult times ahead. Our TV channrls are agenda driven and are just bringing news of such topics with lot of commercial breaks.

    Sir,
Extremely informative discussion. According to public perception, we lost the war because of Chinese supremacy, therefore, it is an eye-opener revelation that we could defeat them but due to some wrong decision of some army officers coupled with the wrong perception of the IB, the opposite happened.

China has occupied 2000 sqkm Indian territory since April 2020.
PM said on 19 June 2020, no one is on our land - why did he say?
Because Indian mil does not have capability to throw PLA out forcefully.
Similarly, if Indian military had war capability, Pak proxy war would end!
