They played their part too well, only gave you the plot to think about. If you were studying top boy then you might have picked this up but if you were just watching this like a normal person then ain’t no way you could have saw this coming.
I didn't pick up on them being cops during it but i didn't miss them at the end when they showed that clip

Even the fact that they told dris in the first season that there is an undercover cop to gain their trust
I had suspected them of being undercover cops the first time I saw them. But, I gotta admit my suspicions vanished in the scene where they were drinking and a stranger hit the guy for being a homeless. And they never broke character even when there was nobody around. That’s why I stopped thinking they were anything else but junkies. Great writing though.
Funny that creators showed full scene of them faking being drunk and we didn't get the reason why since distraction was perfect!
It was devastating to find out at the end that these two junkies are actually police...

They poured the drink out instead of drinking it, probably so they don't get drunk as it is harder to function and act. A half full bottle will create a more realistic impression to the non crackheads and trappers around em

I'm here after watching Season 2 (which is really season 4), I definitely didn't pick up on them being undercover. Yet in the back of my mind, I did think it strange for them to be out coping for the length of time they were in the streets and neither of them overdosed. I mean, I was wondering about them but only why they would never get strung out on the ish. I was completely fooled when they told Dris about another undercover spying on him. That was such clever writing, surprising many of us viewers, especially and again peeps like me that didn't realize this until watching Season 2.
I’m so upset at myself because I watched the whole thing twice and I missed the part where they poured out the drink twice.

What's funny is I'm from the U.S and I thought they acted kinda weird for junkies but I just chalked it up to it being from a different part of the world. Like how all the rival dealers were working with each other instead of waring over products and turf.

We all spotted the junkies were cops but did you notice Sri’s isn’t dead because:firstly you didn’t hear the body hit the floor when he was “shot”Secondly sully can relate to dris, being a dad and told jaq to leave even though she probably knew he was going to die. Lastly at the end of the last episode under dri’s picture it said missing not dead even though they probably would have found the body by then

@@jackrobery4599 It's possible, but dris has a daughter, which sully is aware of; the heavy breathing heard before the gunshot can still be heard, the body isn't heard hitting the ground, and he made Jaq leave the rooftop. I think they'll bring it up as sully letting dris go and Dushane letting Jaq's sister go
