Who else was waiting for Dushane's story? (Now we patiently wait for the next season which hopefully is released weekly)
Early 2021 at the earliest, it's in pre-production right now, so the story and scripts have to be written by Ronan Bennett before it can go into post-production
@@Sweet_Karma it needs to come out next year. There was a 2-year gaps between both Channel 4 series but 6 years from s2 to s3 which was far too long. This Netflix new wave needs to come annually. well at least the next season anyway
@@PR7-82 It won't though, it's written and created by Ronan, I doubt he can go any faster without the story being diluted, so I would prefer quality over quantity lol it takes awhile sure, but I think it's worth the wait

@casual complaints man I couldn't stand him in the original Summerhouse series, really would've loved to see him get his comeuppance then. He was a lot more likeable in the new series, a bit more 'just' in his treatment of others.

i can see it catching up to him more than it will sully because dushane has no plan to retire even though he mentioned it, he's loving the power the control the fear people have for him he's getting more cold more ruthless more heartless his mum just died the only person he truly loved and cared for, he's gonna turn more psycho and slowly lose it he'll create a god like complex he's already getting complacent he will do more dumb shit openly because he's starting to believe he is untouchable, i have my own crazy fan theory of how he should be killed off

Coolyo mate if you watch modies death youl see they had him cornered and ordered him to put his hands on the wheel as they suspected he had a strap which he did and them modie lifted his hand because of his eye therefore they shot him. To feds they couldn’t risk any movement from him.

A S yeeee i agree, i feel like Sully just likes to do things his way. Its his way or there is no way at all. And it shouldnt be like that. If there is a team involved, you need to all agree on what should go down. But sully is a badass madman and i cant complain about his actions even though he has done some really stupid things and made some crazy outlandish mistakes.

Shelley was the most deluded character by far. She always knew what Dushane was about and only brought in morals when it suited her best. Her true colours showed when he didn’t buy her the nail salons 😂😂😂
I'm no hater but she is a woman.
You see with jamie he goes straight through violence with weapons and melees and all sorts but the smart thing about dushane is he has bare tactics and he spends more time plotting instead of killing meaning he succeeds majority of the time.

I had even more respect for Dushane when I was finally able to see Top Boy Summerhouse season 1 . I saw the seasons out of order but I finally understood the tension between Sully and Dushane. Sully was reckless! I love his character but I did look at him differently when I saw how he accidentally killed Kamale ´s cousin and then Leon. Dushane only killed if it was absolutely necessary. I still love all these characters. The show is so good!

Dushane is basically Ghost from power
Yhhh pretty much but the one thing that differentiates them both is that Ghost wants to be legit and leave the game but people keep pulling him back into it. With Dushane, he wants to still keep going, even at his big age due to the income x respect he gains from it. It’s pretty interesting really, both of dem have different type of morals which is understandable, With Dushane, it’s an identity with him, he doesn’t hide who he is, well not as much as Ghost who has two personas. He accepts who he is and the life he is living. Ghost had kids and a business which is why he wanted to be legit, to try create a better lifestyle for his children than his one whilst he was growing up. But yhhh they are pretty much the same, both smart, calculated and would do anything to be at the top of the game, even if it means playing dirty which goes against the principle of the game (aka being snitches).

Next season, as Dushane aims to expand across the whole of London, I'd like to see him clash with some different elements of the underworld. So far it focuses on the black community but there's plenty of estates run by white-brits and Indian-brits. They had the Irish woman as the plug which was cool but also loads of Irish in England. Would like to see more development of these types of characters.
In the first two it was more like that, showed more of a range of characters including the Albanians, the old skool cockneys and the Vietnamese
Previous seasons it focused on Chinese, Albanians and East End Cockneys

For anyone who doesn't know why Chris hates his little brother Dushane now. This is why. Lee Greene from Season1 and his gang broke into Chris's home, held him down and burned his chest with an iron because Dushane and Sully owed a large sum of money to Bobby Raikes for the drugs that Kamale Lewis stole from them.
