NOTE: My thoughts on TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium in Ft. Worth did not record, so I’ll leave my some of my thoughts here. I love how AGC feels almost larger than life from its views on the field. “The Carter” only holds 47,000 but it definitely feels way more than that on gameday. I really like how the end zone club sits within the stands on the back end zone and really makes the stadium distinctly TCU. I have it ranked 4th after Jones AT&T Stadium.
How could you skip the Carter? It's such a great stadium. It's not as iconic as Kyle or DKR, doesn't have as much history as many on the list but it's by far one of the better looking stadiums especially on the outside
The Alamo dome has one advantage over every other collage stadium in the state. That is that every game is 71 degrees and no one is worried about players or fans suffering from heat related illness
Tech’s stadium is better and more iconic than Baylor. And I don’t know why talking about Lubbock changes the stadium score. It’s about stadium, not location.
You left out Amon Carter Stadium in FtWorth (TCU). Prairie View , Texas Southern SFA, Tarlton State ARE currently Division I. They are just in the FCS subdivision not FBS, as is Lamar, Incarnate Word, Houston Christian and Abilene Christian.
I’m in HS Marchung Band in Austin, we get to play is The Alamodome, Baylor Stadium, and UT’s Stadium this year, plus a few other stadiums with ~10K capacity and UIL Area is in a 25K stadium
I would've given you a like but you bagged on Lubbock way too much. Fall weather in Lubbock is fantastic thanks to it's elevation & dry climate, so it actually makes it a really nice place to attend a game.
I guess based on the last comments he made this list is biased. All of state of Texas and America knows Longhorns should be #1. Im a Red Raider fan by the way.
same stadium new name, though they are building a new athletic complex in addition to the new jumbotron which was finished before the start of the year
Ehhh I think Kyle field just has a nicer look to it and a nicer outside the stadium too, I do like the longhorn on the tv Side of the ut stadium, but I think it’s just not as good as a stadium.
Kyle field may have the highest capacity of any stadium in Texas, but the best? Cmon, now. DKR is so much better looking. Plus the location, right in downtown Austin. Ya can’t beat that. One of the most unique places in college football.
The current iteration of Kyle field is unquestionably a nicer stadium. You clearly haven’t been there. Also, location is irrelevant to the stadium itself.
DKR can’t hold Kyle Fields jockstrap give me a break. And the environment? Stepping through the absolute filth that is the San Francisco of the south 🤮

Why did you leave out TCU stadium in fort Worth Texas??
Thanks and Gig'em Aggies!! 👍
UTRGV Vaqueros will start their football program in 2025.
Aww how cute (:
V’s up vaqueros
Quick correction:
Those schools you mentioned in the beginning ARE Division 1 schools... you mean they're not FBS.
The Alamodome is a dump and has to be rented from the city. Should be ranked below UNT, SMU, and TXST.
The alamodome is actually pretty badass!
The Alamo dome has one advantage over every other collage stadium in the state. That is that every game is 71 degrees and no one is worried about players or fans suffering from heat related illness
Robots your a dump

and East Texas A&M
Kyle field and DKR are both the best college stadiums in Texas.
I will be at McLane Stadium tomorrow for OkState vs. Baylor; it is a really good stadium.
Going to A&M and UT on Saturday endzone first row!!
1. Kyle Field 2. DKR 3. Jones ATT 4. McLane Stadium 5. Amon G Carter. Just my personal preference from a TTU fan.
SFA is division 1.
They’re in FCS not FBS. if this was FCS you would see teams like HCU, Texas Southern, Abilene and Tarleton State
@MidlandFootballLeague That's not what he said. He said division 1.
Tarleton State made the jump to Division 1 in 2020….In fact, all those you listed are D1-FCS. I think you are confusing FCS and D2
All these schools are fbs
The “death penalty” was 40 years ago. Can we possibly mention SMU without referencing it? When will that happen? 2150? 2250?
It’s part of the history, maybe don’t cheat lol
They still havent fully recovered from it.
SMU will always be the posterchild for “death penalty”. Any time that term is used, SMU is synonymous with it. Sorry
I’m in HS Marchung Band in Austin, we get to play is The Alamodome, Baylor Stadium, and UT’s Stadium this year, plus a few other stadiums with ~10K capacity and UIL Area is in a 25K stadium
I'm sorry you have to play at DKR.
@@aggiesrecruitingexpertobjectively what’s wrong with DKR? That Kyle atmosphere sure didn’t do much this last weekend bro
The disrespect of Lubbock once again lol
Hmm. I didn’t realize Jones Stadium looked so much like Amon Carter in FW until I saw this video. C’mon, man! Wreck’EM!
You lost me with the bashing of Lubbock.
You have Texas Tech way too low. They're stadium is a lot nicer and bigger than Baylor's or TCU's.
No.
😂
Nope
@@29Texan It Is a lot nicer than Baylor's, especially after the renovations.
honestly even as a baylor fan I was surprised hee ranked
baylors over texas tech

Something very football special about a fall night game in LBK
Oct game in Lubbock is the best football weather I’ve ever been too
Lobbock sucks and your team sucks
@@nauticalfiction4795 whatever high school you failed out of never taught you to spell.

Where was tcu
I guess based on the last comments he made this list is biased. All of state of Texas and America knows Longhorns should be #1. Im a Red Raider fan by the way.
UT RGV seems like theyll have an okay stadium but I think they're FCS
will i don’t think you know ball, because those school you didn’t mention, ARE DIVISON 1. Stop hopping on the college football trend kids it’s sad.
You forgot the D3 stadiums. If you were just going to rank the FBS stadiums, you should've clarified that.
No amon g Carter stadium that one is a sleeper
Where's uiw?
Alamodome is the number #1 just look at it , I mean it’s called the Alamodome that’s a badass name
over Kyle, jones and DKR? Hell nah you’re trippin
go bears baby
Kyle field at 1 and DKR at 2? Lame. BS.
you must have never been to Kyle Field
@ltmgames4655 i actually was a couple years ago. Sucked. I'd rather be at a funeral.
Tarleton is Division 1.
UH is getting a new stadium, I would check it out. Space City Financial Stadium, I believe
same stadium new name, though they are building a new athletic complex in addition to the new jumbotron which was finished before the start of the year
Rice has a nice view of the medical center in Houston
True Texas football fans know. 1). Darrell K Royal. 2). Kyle Field. 3). Jones ATT&T Stadium in that order. ( I am not Not a Longhorn Fan)
Dkr😂
DKR could never touch Kyle field in atmosphere
A stadium where the players run out of uterus can't be first buddy
Ehhh I think Kyle field just has a nicer look to it and a nicer outside the stadium too, I do like the longhorn on the tv Side of the ut stadium, but I think it’s just not as good as a stadium.
DKR is not where CLOSE to Kyle .. there is no competition, hell Kyle is ranked nationally usually top 5, DKR doesnt crack the top 10
No tcu? Lol
Man I thought we was number 1 how he miss them 🥺

bro austin looks like a garbage truck yakked on the texas highways. ruined that part of town
DKR can’t hold Kyle Fields jockstrap give me a break. And the environment? Stepping through the absolute filth that is the San Francisco of the south 🤮
If Kyle isn't 1, you're a hater... 'nuff said..
Hence the few hater comments because they mad.
Nah DKR is the goat
Meh, Kyle field sucks
Maybe if you’re blind lol. Sip logic lol!
