Texas Tech alum here, hub city also refers to Lubbock being the hub of medical care because it has the only Level 1 trauma care in the region. The next closest Level I trauma centers are hours away in any direction. El Paso, TX and Albuquerque, New Mexico are the closest level 1 trauma centers to Lubbock.

That last section of the livestock arena that you were in connects to our USDA meat processing facility! It opened in WW1 as a way to help out war efforts and send meat to troops and has been open ever since!

The birds on Tech's campus are literally awful, and there are tons of them, they poop everywhere you can imagine, so I am not surprised to see that they die everywhere too
If you ever come out to Long Beach State you have to check out the Shark Lab which has live sharks (it's not sports related) and also the Walter Pyramid.
@@gfedgocrazy you have to make an appointment with the Shark Lab if you want to go inside of it, and the Pyramid is open but if there is practice you can't film just to give you a heads up. I am a student at Long Beach the Pyramid is a great place for a basketball game and volleyball game.
At Boston University there are 2 dedicated hockey arenas and the indoor track as well that are the big things, on top of all the other history on campus.
