I love sauerkraut soup! This is very similar to mine except I use Bavarian sauerkraut which is a sweeter kraut. Also I add a green bell pepper and a teaspoon of dried dill.

They die unless you don't mind waiting for soup to cool and adding the 'kraut when soup is only warm.
