Kola, thanks a million for this video. I could never access my laptop via moonlight/sunshine out of my network without port forwarding. Now that I can make NordVPN work on the beam (thanks to this video), I just had to setup a meshnet and it works like charm. I´m free to do remote work with my XReal from anywhere now. You should set up a "buy me a coffee" link, or something like that.

AND HOW TO CONNECT THEM TO ALMOST ALL DEVICES AND ENJOY THEM. there are many people like me who dont know how to upgrade these two. one more request , please tell us about the multi functions of the buttons on xreal air. like switching on 3d mode etc. THANK YOU
Hi Kola, thx for posting. How is your video quality for Netflix and Prime Video on the Beam! Mine is really low quality and not HD. Any suggestions to improve video quality?
There is nothing you can do about the video quality Xreal still can’t properly broadcast Netflix and Amazon Prime due to restrictions. As of right now Xbeam is a hunk of junk until they get it all straightened out.
My quality is fine, not great, but fine. Better than some of other people's i've seen on discord. Always connect to wifi 5g whenever you can, then pause the movie or show for about 5sec after playing it you'll see the quality improve a bit. But other than that, Nothing else you can do. The max quality you can get is SD due to DRM limitations.
@@anguslean4058 I disagree, you had 30 days to return upon receiving it, but you didn't for a reason (potential). Trust me i was quite disappointed too when i first bought it, in fact i went about a month without using it, but i never thought to return it because i saw the potential. Now though, with all the updates, i'm so glad i kept it. I use the beam with my glasses independent of my phone everyday, absolutely love spatial display mode. There's just nothing like it on the market.
@@KingKola_ exactly you can only get standard definition not 1080 because of the restrictions So this Xbeam is a useless brick until they fix it. What good is having 1080 glasses if all you can view is standard definition.
You can get 1080 with youtube, plex, vlc streaming, movies transfered on the device itself, Also some use theirs as second display. And as far as Netflix, prime or whatever, you can still get 1080p in wired connection. I made a video warning people about it, and i was pretty honest. If you hate it so much sell it on ebay, problem solved.
Bro can u watch spatial video on the beam? Btw i managed to get a bluetooth keyboard connected. I think the main thing get keyboard without a dongle lol
Yes it does, I have tried it. It depends on which vpn service you choose and how long ago. For an example, when i was in Mexico i couldn't connect through some countries, but i could to Canada, then when i came back to the US i couldn't connect to Canada anymore even though i used to be able to, now I connect to UK, and when i go to Indonesia next month, i will be connecting to the US.

yes fam, i use mine to watch netflix and prime in spatial display mode all the time. I plan on downloading hulu soon.
