    Nice trailer! Those chains at 12:13 are awesome. We ended up doing something similar on our PJ Dump Trailer because the latches failed so many times leading to bent doors.

      Definitely a problem I don't want!

    Picking up our Maxxd RDX roll of 16ft triple axle this week. They’re a great company and I’m looking fwd to getting it on the road! Cool video and thanks for the peek

      Congrats! If I was doing this full time, I think the roll-offs would be the way to go! But for me, the dump trailer fit the bill!

      @@haulintrash we already have a 24 ft flat deck, and a 14 ft iron bull dump trailer to move our mini excavator, tractors and do material jobs. I’ve always loved the iron bull because I’ll load equipment drop it off, and then run material. But with the flat deck option for the rdx it combines both trailers for us, so it’s getting sold. Plus the bins double as a dump trailer and the passive income option was just too good to pass up.
      Thanks for letting us check your new rig out! Have you put it through it’s paces yet? Any issues?

      @GAOTU 2019 I've hauled a couple loads of gravel, so far, it's working perfectly!

    That is a beautiful trailer. I love the color, but I would not be able to touch up the exterior. My black colored trailers I can touch up every couple years from tires sand blasting the frame...plus if I make modifications like adding winches, additional tie downs, etc....I can touch it up with gloss black enamel.

      Thanks man! I've been told that there is a good match, one of the common brands like Rustolium or one like it. I just need to go out and find a couple cans.

    How much does the trailer weigh? If the GVWR is 17,500 you'll need to deduct the trailer's own weight to know your payload.

      @haulintrash  8 месяцев назад +2

      Trailer is about 6300 lbs. Stated payload is 11,500, but I've had almost 14k worth of gravel in it with no issues at all.

      About 20% of the weight transfers to the truck. With 14k of gravel, total trailer weight was 20,300. So a tad over 4k was on the truck, leaving 16k on the trailer axles. Two 8k axles, perfect!

      I heard you wrong while watching the video. I thought you said 17,500 but you say 11,500. It all makes perfect sense now. Thanks for the explanation. Sweet trailer!

      @AdmiringLandcsapes Ah, gotcha! It all gets confusing between gvwr, payload, gawr, gcwr! Too many ratings!

    i like the telescoping cylinder but just dont like the gap it has to have.

      I've heard that from others as well. I actually have found it handy when I need to adjust part of the load in the front of the box.

    Nice, what brand were you waiting on the order for?

    • @haulintrash
      @haulintrash  Год назад

      I kind of don't want to say. I'm not trying to bag on them or anything. I understand there are still supply chain issues. The company I had originally ordered from has a solid reputation, and I have no reason to believe I wouldn't have been very happy with their product. Just didn't work out.

      @Haulin' Trash understandable, yeah there still is delays in things. I had a new truck i thought dealer had on lot but it was for dealer order and they traded orders with another dealer. I waited from end of nov when was sopposed be here beginning of dec. It took so long to get here i ended up not getting it either. Just went few yr older 3/4ton diesel instead. The truck i was waiting for finally got here end april...

    That dent looks like a shipping damage when they stack the trailer atop each other during transport shipping from texas to phx. Probably dropped the top trailer on wrong or with out cradle blocks.
