After being widowed for five years, Allah blessed me with a wonderful husband. We share a beautiful and unbreakable bond, and were wed on April 26, 2023! Married for 39yrs here. So Back in 90s, had industrial accident and got broken so bad couldn't even walk. I'm in and out of consciousness only to see that little wife of mine praying for my life. She wouldn't leave my side.
Another time she was hospitalized by venomous spider bite. I arrived, went to her bedside, laid hands in That Name, raised her up and we went home immediately. Husbands and wives develop a connection that cant be explained

There are a lot of give and take from both parties in a marriage. There are days that I say to myself if my wife wanted to leave me that I would be cool, but if she did there is No Way that I would be as blessed as I am with her now! My 32 years with her has been a blessing with the ups and downs! Besides, trying to start over in this time in this country would be a nightmare!
I'm really glad for you and your marriage. One question though, for you and anyone who's successfully married. I was only taught what men are supposed to do for women, but now that I'm in a situation to do all of that, I'm wondering, what am I supposed to get for it? Besides sex and kids, if my life is already great, and I'm already successful, what is the benefit of having a wife? How could she improve my life? I cook, I clean, I make six figures, I have hobbies and friends, I have a house, and I could just move a lady in... But what for? Just for (hopefully) consistent sex, kids and to have someone else around? Serious question. Thanks in advance.
@@djangomarine6658 That's a good point. I guess it may all depend on what you want for yourself in life. For me I really didn't want to be single, or live the single life. My wife now is my second being divorced in my late 20's. My wife now was and is more than a sex partner, good cook, etc. she was a huge influence in my decision making throughout my career which lead to our financial growth and living comfort and our wonderful child who is a great addition to our lives which may align with what our Creator wished for us as men and women to do, but that's another subject!

I recall another unmarried lady say something similar right after she went on to talk about how her mother got sick and father had to take care of her and her mother. I am happily married. Yes, I'm still a newly wed, but we are happy. I am all he want. He is all I want. And we are showing each other we want each other and we have made a decision that we're going to stay together through thick and thin. He constantly confesses love for me. I constantly confess my love to him. And that's all it is, and we're taking it One Day at a Time. Letting joy flow through One Day at a Time. And whatever obstacles or problems we run into. We will also deal with them One Day at a Time, but we have. Made a commitment to work it out and let's stay together no matter what for life.
