My name is Kendra (my government name), but I’m also known around the Black Manosphere as DJ Fish Grease. These sistas don’t care. I was at bowling league yesterday and a little brotha (had to be like 5) was trying to play one of the arcade shooting games. He asked if I could show him how to start the game and since he was alone I asked him where his father was. He replied “I don’t have a dad, I have a mom” and that shit broke me… the pain, trauma and harm that he doesn’t know know that he’s undergoing is just crazy to me.
That’s sad but I think the kids even at those young ages know it’s not normal. I go to the grocery store and see these lil boys next to (Single?) moms, and they’re eyeing me or calling out trynna get my attention. Craving the male energy missing from their lives. I think it’s basic instinct.
@@seensay2132 I worked with a young guy He had 9 siblings all with different dads. He was embarressed and said understood why some were messed up. He loved his mom but needed to set limits with her and distance himself
I was raised in a single parent home and as a boy I had a instinct need and craved to be around and absorb male energy and masculinity. I also knew instinctively was deprived of a father and I subconsciously had resentment towards my mother, as i grew into adolescent into adulthood the resentment grow stronger. I have talked to other men who experienced the same feeling so it common but most wont admit it openly.
I don't understand why bw can't understand why their children grow up to resent them.

I guess it should not be surprising that the same people that would selfishly have plastic surgery would selfishly have a child without a father for the child because they want someone to love them because they feel lonely.
No matter how "strong", "independent", and "don't need a man" a woman thinks she is, a child's father brings balance in their life. Such selfishness to use the man as only a sperm donor but not a co-parent. The other thing of course are the caliber of men that the women pick. Are they responsible men, or "Pookie" and "Ray Rays"? At the end of the day, it is the children that suffer without the presence of a father. I worked in the jails and the majority of men were fatherless, violent, and emotional, so what does that tell us about this baby mama society? I'll wait!

A lot of mothers don’t want to accept that what’s good for them, in their mind, isn’t necessarily what’s good for their child or what they need. You may well like being single and running around but that child requires a cohesive home and you did not do your part to secure that

I’ve been pushing for this for some time now. The only reason bw are as vile as they are is because of government assistance,it makes them feel they don’t need the man. If we can find a way to dismantle that they definitely would change overnight.
As a former juvenile corrections officer for 18 years I can count on my hands how many involved fathers without a criminal record I saw. It's almost guaranteed if they have behavior problems in 6-8 grades they are going to jail and or prison . I'm also a teacher so I can't point out the ones on the school to prison pipeline.
Thank God I had a mom and dad in the house. My dad was the head, and there was structure.
CC you and this young lady is on point. I went through this where my daughter's mother she refused to get married to raise our daughter in a family environment. She dragged me through family court and I was prevented from being part of her life. Now our daughter was destroyed by her mother emotionally and mentally now I have to help her heal through therapy. Facts of as a youth football of over 19 years and working in the school system I see what happens to children who are raised in single mother homes.

They didn't want children. They want that feeling of unconditional love and utter dependence a baby gives. Once that phase is over they'll begin abusing it and taking it for granted.
There was a book by a black author whose name i can't recall. But the main character in the book did just that. She kept having babies just to feel the love of the baby but neglected them as they aged.

I actually overheard a woman literally say she liked having her kid, but she can't stand being in a relationship with her baby's father. She said he wasn't a bad guy or anything, but the way she carried on with her conversation, she made the monogamous relationship sound like it's akin to being like a caged animal.

I think that a major reason why some girls/women relish being single mothers is all the State, City, and Federal support they look forward to. Just as with divorce, if there was no real incentive, I believe there would be less baby mamas and divorcees.

A feral cat (raised in the wild, not as a pet inside a loving home) is a perfect analogy for the emotional creatures coming out of the single female-led household. I speak from my own personal experience: it took a lifetime of difficult work to confront and tame my demons to be able to function healthily as a whole human being. My mother obtained multiple postgraduate degrees, built a stellar career and amassed a fortune. I prefer not to discuss my siblings, but suffice it to say that their healing journey is not apparent. Yes, single motherhood either by choice or by chasing elusive/incompetent prospective fathers must be called out for the danger that it poses both for the progeny and the society negatively impacted by their (our) disposition.

I believe that it is by mere survival instinct that many single mothers are or become selfish! However, the true test of a single mother’s character and core intention lies in how they respond to the rare reality of a good, well intentioned man actually in their lives. Do they have it within themselves to A) Recognize he’s a good man. and B) demonstrate the willingness to concede her survival instincts towards selfishness and trust that good man.
Many refuse to. Many who are professional and high earners have it much more difficult to come to grips with the two opposing desires that are warring within them: 1. Concede leadership to a good well intentioned man “at home” or 2. Stubbornly maintain their independence.
There would be far less single mothers if there was no alimony, child support, or welfare.
The common C-Section rhetoric is “the baby has the umbilical cord around its neck”.

I understand. BUT, a double parent home could be just as bad, if not worse. My mother and father were both selfish. I grew up with both, and wish I never knew either. Our cultural beliefs are stunted, basically about everything, because the wrong beliefs are consistently passed down from generation to generation. It's a curse, and the most vulnerable ones who fall prey, are the children. While it's good to see channels like this, and Black women with the correct mindsets, the culture around family principles are destroyed and too far gone. There is more bad than good. BOTH parents must have proper parenting skills, which is unfortunately in short supply in the Black community. You can't successfully imitate something that is incompetent.
The ramifications of being a single father can be just as difficult. How about when you are denied the right of visitation to be in your child’s life. How about the selfishness of its my child and you can’t see them at all. I just need your money for the child or the state to be the father and you go to hell.
