At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on RUclips. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of RUclips 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers.
Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic. Singing in French, at the age of 10, on a Russian TV show... a viewer: 'at the age of 5 she couldn't speak her own language, how can one see this and still doubt past lives?'

She's basically a talent of the ages imo. You can tell it in the faces of the guys "judging" her. I mean, they do their job, but inside they are shook by such a huge talent. They know that, no matter how much you try to get there, that level of artistry is a divine anointment, reserved for the receiver. I hope she stays grounded and expresses herself naturally, it's a blessing to hear someone sing with the voice of mother earth herself ;)

Diana won more than 50 different competitions in Russia, at the age of 10 in China she received a gold medal in the age group of 10-13 years. I have been listening for many years and she constantly surprises with her vocals and choice of songs.Diana is called the queen of goosebumps and the killer of original songs, as well as an a cappella princess.🙏👍👍

I don't understand this mashup. Almost all the cuts occur just before Diana's voice reaches the firmament. It's as if the author wanted to diminish Diana's talent. Very strange.
