To many effects...looses its soul to to many effects..

I guess if you are doing something solo, you need to use effects to bring depth to your performance. Many of the artists I have seen on BBB have a drum line that is artificial but gives them a beat to work to as a band's rhythm section would do, even bringing in a bass beat and synthised keyboards. Don't judge an artist by creating something to assist their performance.
