She shares how she models the core words, how she lets her students "play teacher", and how she utilizes iPads as AAC devices using Proloquo2G to make the activity accessible and inclusive for her students with limited verbal language.

This was so good! I love how engaged your students are! Thank you ❤
I feel so lucky to have great students! ❤️ Thanks for watching!
amazing class room setup and all kids are so engaging. How to teach any new vocabulary faster? my son takes longer time to master any new word. i am trying to figure out different techniques he is 6 years old and on spectrum
I would work at your son’s pace. Introduce him to 2-3 new words and take a week or two to work on them. Use different activities and incorporate them throughout the day! You can use core word cards to show your son when you are using the word. Make it fun! Does your son use an AAC device?
Can I get a copy of your core words, please?

@theautismhelper Thank you. I love your channel and you've all helped me a lot. I'm in Santa Barbara county. I may be teaching my first autism class next year. I'm currently mod-severe 1st-2nd.
