- Since 2019's House of X, by Jonathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, and Marte Gracia, the status quo of Marvel's mutants shifted from the previous 50+ years to finally bring all of mutantkind onto one sovereign mutant nation of Krakoa, a miraculous potential utopia where mutant circuits had conquered death itself. For the past 5 years, X-Men fans have watched this glorious idea play out across hundreds of X-Men comics, as ancient mutants were discovered, Mars was terraformed, and Cosmic alliances were formed, but now, finally, at the start of 2024, it all comes to an end.

I love your channel but these type of krackin krakoa videos are my favorite! The krakoa era has been such a fun ride I can't believe how many years it has been going on, it sure dosent feel that long. I hope they continue it either fully or blended with classic xmen story telling.

I like your theory, Dave. Turn Moira X babyface again and have her reset the timeline and burn everything down...makes sense especially with the marketing of the X relaunch subtitled "From the Ashes"....also glad to see these "Kraking Krakoa" videos back..I like the live streams but don't have a ton of time every week for a hour plus stream..can't wait for Rise of the Powers of X next week!
You know in those dumb movies were someone knows the answer to the issue but they only bring it up 2 hours later cuz "That how you make a movie!"
That what I feel about the Krokan Era after Destiny of X, just a massive letdown as they had interesting ideas but it was like if your friend forgot to tell you to not look at the monster face.

Charles trying to bring back Moira + her mutant gene to reset the timeline is the same theory I’ve had but I think one thing they won’t be able to rest is Sinister becoming Dominion. They’ll be able to fix the immediate issues for mutants but the looming multiversal threat The Enigma poses goes way past anything Charles can do. Maybe it’ll be the villain of a 2025 anniversary of Secret Wars.

Love the content but the louder voice then quieter voice then louder again makes it harder to enjoy
I was always wondering HOW Levi's could create a blanket mutant collar that stops ALL powers when there are so many variations of powers? How are they able to do that? That didn't make sense.
Plus How are the strongest psychic mutants NOT ABLE to read these Orcis agents who attacked Krakoa? Moira may be a cyborg now but her brain wave patterns are the same. And Xavier AND Emma have been in her head. But they could read her? Hope; who is the McGuffin of comics; couldn't read her but she can do everything else?
How do you set up a nation but no army to defend it?
Where was Namor during the Fall of X?
How was Forge not able to create mini or micro back up units for each field mutant so they back up to the second of death? And when they are resurrected they would have their memories intact and give feedback. But Beast was able to?
Why, in the many assaults of Orcis's sun base; did the mutants keep doing the same attack over and over and then leaving bio material on board for the enemy to recover? Isn't that a tactical disaster that Cyclops would never do? Isn't he supposed to be the tactical strategist but in these comics he's just anoher goober.
How was Wolverine able to be killed by a pocket knife by Beast? His healing factor only works for specific stories?
Nimrod is this mutant killing robot but there's only so many powers he can stop or neutralize at one. Right?
Also, was it just me or were most of the Male mutant kind of mediocre with the exceptions but all of the female mutants were badasses. No matter who they are.
Sadly the writers Hickman got were dumb, no tack just brrr.
I still meme about miss face changer n o t using the blackhole bomb and being all pikachu face when N I M R O D disables it..
Doe i think the only way to shut down mutant powers is to basically trick their body into supress it? But then again there was that "Turn you human" gun so may be that.
Assuming the Writers werent using their powers to dumb the mutant down, Nimrod was shown to scan the target for their abilities and what would shut them down.
Like that dumb issue where they kept sending in Wolverine, Kid Omega and Domino. Kid Omega was countered by disturbing his power, Domino was hit by clusterbombs so one of them would hit her and Wolverine was shot with Lasers.
That was before Destiny of X so assuming Orchis got more cheese and research they would be able to handle more mutant threats?
Especially since being able to counter domino power is pretty out there

In the spite of being the "world's greatest" telepath and a genius mind, Xavier is one the most useless characters and just never learns from his mistakes, the eternal wide-eyed idealist with that "holier than thou" attitude. Just when things started to get interesting with the X-Men going full on "The Dog Bites Back" mode (finally), now Charles is going to try turn back time?
Why did they have to bring him back after Cyclops killed him???

@@devegas4910 couldn't agree more. Even though I haven't read every krakoa era X-men, I'm getting REALLY sick and tired of the X-men being called villains during this whole run. If you didn't like this era that's fine, for me all I saw was a group of people who we're sick of being bullied around and decided to do something about it, hence the island of krakoa. Was it perfect no, but at least they tried to something different to insure their survival when the old way was barley getting results.
