Dave! I just wanna say a huge THANK YOU! It is the end of an era... your Krackin' Krakoa videos were everything for me as I read the Hickman part of Krakoa. (I mostly dropped off after Hickman left... only reading Immortal and Red after that.) I hadn't followed X-men since the early 90's and HOX/POX plus your videos renewed my interest in X-men and I couldn't get enough. If not for you, I wouldn't have gone back and read the Carey run! So, just wanna say again... thank you! :-)
I didn't think the Doom one shot was all that. The art was cool and the final page/line of the comic was pretty cool though

I agree. It was cool, but ultimately, it felt a bit pointless. It had no real conclusion, and I didn't leave feeling particularly enriched either. Yeah, Hickman writes a cool doom, but I expected a bit more

now that we are at the end. here is my takeaway despite the lame ending.....................
We got one of the best set of comics of all time in HOX AND POX.................
We got tons of development on characters we likely never would have without the Krakoa era. i mean tons of them. from lesser ones such as scalphunter to larger ones such as Exodus......................................
We got some great ideas even if not executed perfectly. as one example the evil turn of Beast..........there are tons...........................
For me If i cut out the crap. there is tons of stuff that i still enjoyed a ton during this era........................ and in the end.This era will color the future of x-men forever even if the krakoa era is over........................I look at it kind of like AvX. when i first read it. I enjoyed it. But i think its true greatness is its long lasting impact over storylines since then. Krakoa era will be the same in an even bigger way.......................
I enjoyed the 4 sinister clones. i thought that was interesting as hell.............even though the concept was better then the execution
I enjoyed the Hellions, X-factor, Immortal x-men and many other runs............................
I enjoyed Arrakko, x of swords,..........................................
I enjoyed what they did with Moira as a concept if again not in execution
In the end though. well never know how it actually went in the x-office but i do think you had a bunch of idiots thinking they could Hickman better then Hickman and derailed this partially. Opportinty lost in that sense. But the seeds that were planted by Hickman are insane to think about. I dont think any run has ever done so much moving forward of ideas.
Krakoa era is basically Game of Thrones for what it's worth

Yeah, i was trying to find Ultimate X-Men 3 segment, first in podcast, then in video and i guess .... he just didnt talk about it.
X-Men Red and Immortal X-Men were consistently better than the Doom one-shot.
In fact, I do not understand why this one shot is getting so much praise. I thought it was alright - it didn’t do anything special or all that original…

How is cyclops omega? His powers do daredevil level damage at best.
