Haa bilkul.yeah sabhi Indian Discus hai aur sabhi India ka sabse bara Discus Farm Sam's Discus ka hai of Mr.Sanjay Khandagle aur yeah vdo ka guest Mr.Amritayan unka Discus hi deal karte hai
Dada one more question. How to take prior precautions to avoid gills and flukes infection? because as a hobbiest i don't want to use any medicine on our fish.
There is a vdo made on it where elaborate details is discussed.Should be released within 3 weeks approx. Basics is maintaining good water quality.Almost all disease of all fishes 90% it happens due to us only not giving or maintaining proper and idealwater condition or temperature or living condition and stress, incompatible fishes, wrong setup and not maintaining proper water condition is the biggest sin of all of us.When ever we hobbists actually do something wrong the fish only suffers. So just do regular water change and maintain best water quality and constant 28-30 degree temp. That's what i will say.New imported or bought fishes have v high chances of flukes. So watch and inspect there movement and breathing speed and gills also at time of purchase as we sometimes buy fishes with flukes. This mistake i did once when i was new to discus keeping.
Borewell water has high TDS... meaning high Gh and Kh. Normally borewell water has TDS over 450. Discus thrive well around 150-200. There's no other alternative other than using RO water. Remember RO water has minimal TDS value so either you have to mix RO water with Borewell water in ratio wise proportion or use buffer like Seachem's Equilibrium to raise Gh levels. Also remember high Kh or Carbonate hardness is proportionate to high Ph levels..meaning higher the carbonate hardness higher the Ph level of the water. Best if water is treated in a storage container and pre treated with declorinate ( borewell water doesn't have high chlorine levels like Municipality water ) and heated to the desired tank temperature water parameter before water change. While in the Pre treated conditions the Ph level of the storage water drops because of carbon dioxide being released from the container water in 24 to 48 hrs duration.
Nice information sir
Good quality fish
Nice video.
Thank you so much Kishore Ji
