The piano you hear and see is from my transcription MIDI file with a little of the original audio mixed in so you can tell where you are in the song.
Learn this classic song just the way that Elton plays it live himself. I have transcribed this great live version into a MIDI file that you can use to help you learn the piano part quickly and accurately. MIDI files are a great tool in which you can: hear the piano only (instead of entire band), slow down the song without any quality loss, loop difficult sections, change the key of the song, and more!

Amazing work man! i'm trying to transcribe the red piano show version for so long, he mixed all these licks and added some new ones. He is the king of phrasing
Hey Arthur, sorry I missed this comment. I haven't heard that one that I recall, I'm sure you will do a great job on the transcription. The hardest part for me it just hearing the piano through so much instrumentation. Glad you enjoyed this!

Superb, you've nailed that triplet roll thing which he plays in every song live especially during solos, it happens here at 0.35 can you explain the fingering.

you should make a transcription of the song as played on the record
I might just do that. I think the album versions are interesting because they show how differently he approaches a song in the studio versus a live show. They are also usually more approachable for players as they are less complicated. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Brady, sorry I didn't reply to you sooner on the other comment. So I have been talking with some arrangers about sheet music but it is pretty cost prohibitive. This particular song would probably bee about $300.00 U.S. dollars to have someone arrange it for me. On printing sheet music with the MIDI file, depending on the program you have it would translate this into sheet music however it is not to a grid and therefore would look very different than what you are use to. That is where an arranger would come into play. Hope this helps but if I am able to offer these in the future I will definitely let it be know on the channel.
