Why? Loads of People like off-roading and camping in general. You can do it a little more comfortably. With your own car and not need a huge RV. Some people also want a home they can move around in. Some can’t stay still. 😊
yep, glad I found this as I just bought foam to make a truck camper & this concept compliments my design ideas absolutely. Excepting it will be mounted on a '66 IH Travelette
That is such a cool build with clean lines, an homage to the past and has everything you’d want. Hopefully they put some larger anti sway bars on it. Cross winds could be a problem.
That is the sickest retro Toyota concept ever. It’s a shame it will probably end up in some warehouse show car storage facility and never actually taken camping.
RV companies have been doing this for years: building the tv right onto van chassis cutaway sold specifically made for them by Mercedes, Ford and Ram. I love this. Kick a Tundra up three inches so you have room underneath for holding tanks and go from there. Plenty of companies could do this in partnership just like they did with the Chinook
I'm a house flipper & in June after our latest 1 sells, I'm planning on making my own version of the tacozilla on my dodge ram 1500 6' bed. Love the tacozilla! Thanks for sharing 🙏

This is amazing! With the housing market currently this may be the go-to for many people😂, offer a few more paint jobs and it’s mobile housing gold. The only thing that confuses me is the bed, maybe your camera affect it, but the bed looks SUPER small, so you have to sleep fetal to fit I guess?
this is a new level for toyota, absolutely amazed!!! now if this came manufactured from factory and had a warranty id preorder one immediately. i wonder what the MPG would like like, and if there would be trim levels or a one standard model.
My only concern is this truck is designed to flex in the bed area since has a c channel frame. Now you have a camper attached to the front cabin. Unless the raw part of the frame is stiffened this might have a issue.
