    Look im a steelers fan... since day 1 I have been enamored and amazed at how great Lamar is. I'd take him on my team in a heart beat. Anyone who says he isn't a great qb doesn't know shit. He is like 30-6 so far or something insane like that

    • @seanswinton6242
      @seanswinton6242 3 года назад +25

      I agree completely! Like you, I am a lifelong Steeler fan. I am also a Lamar Jackson fan (my middle name being Lamar doesn't help). Watching him and Baker Mayfield battle last season was one of the best games I've ever seen. Unlike the NBA marketing Magic and Bird, you don't get a Jackson/Mahomes, Jackson/Mayfield or Jackson/Rosen rivalry campaign which I think is stupid. All we see and hear is criticisms w/o the compliments making him the most disrespected unanimous MVP ever in any sport! I know it's unlikely and wouldn't work, but in the back of my mind I would love for Lamar Jackson to be a Steeler after Big Ben retires.

      I think the only teams Lamar would be his true best would be the ravens, steelers, or the current browns. He would be good anywhere but AFC north teams in particular care more about the run game and defense than anyone else.

  • @ThePsho
    @ThePsho 3 года назад +141

    While he's checking every possible box, one of his greatest intangibles is how he ups everyone else's game around him. Before he stepped in during his rookie year, the Ravens defense had been playing a little bland. Not only did his debut spark the offense, but the defense and special teams upped their game. He's just a dude you want to win for. Hard to quantify something like that. Ray Lewis had that too. When the Ravens won the SB in 2012, Ray was almost more of a detriment out there in the playoffs with his gigantic arm cast, but his on-field presence was more valuable to the team than his hindrance.
    I was always a Flacco defender, but I felt his nonchalant attitude was contagious. Great arm, and I don't doubt he wanted to win, but sometimes you have to outwardly show some emotion for the betterment of the team.

      The 1st man I heard to bring up flacco attitude. I been saying since day 1 that his attitude stunted his growth. He thought Ray Lewis was too extra and that's why he couldn't succeed as a Raven. Baltimore City is about attitude and toughness. Flacco helped us out, but I can't be in Bmore with that its just a game mindset. It's bigger than sports. U either get it or I don't.

    Everyone talks about his speed because it's obvious. Some folks talk about his arm because it's too strong to be denied. But what makes Lamar great is his attitude and work ethic. I watched him in college, and he has always been the guy who worked harder and played with more intensity than the other guy. He was drafted to the league after only three years of an actual playbook (his high school only ran something like 5 or six plays), so the idea of reading defenses and checking his receivers was still pretty new to him when he made it to the Show. To get where he is as a passer while learning against the best in the world speaks to his determination to improve - by the time he starts to lose a step with his speed, he'll be an elite passer

He always shares HIS limelight with his teammates and coaches. He loves his coaches, teammates, fans and the Baltimore community. He's so selfless and picks his teammates up when they lose a game.
