I don’t think that the Makeup Forever Pallet is limited at all….if the shades don’t match….mix them…..want foundation darker mix in bronzer shade, lighter mix in concealer and you also have correctors to mix in as well. I find this very versatile. Very pricey…..but one and done. Loved the vid!! Great recommendations 👍🏻
The Makeup Forever Paletter is a DREAM!! I absolutely love it! And it blends so well and it leaves such an amazing glow, I take it everywhere, it’s super practical! It’s one of my favs! I’m not sure what you didn’t like about it but not all things can be for everyone

The whole point of the HD Palette is to be able to customize your makeup to your skintone. You can achieve this by either using what's there if it matches exactly, or by simply mixing a color with another color and getting your desired match that way. So your complaint that the palette might not match others skin tone doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's a customizable palette.
I was thinking about this exactly! I have an older version of this palette which on one side has foundations/ bronzer shades, and the other half is full of blush colors. If you think about it, it's even more restrictive than the palette in this video because I don't have highlighters or color correctors, but I still think it's the best investment I've ever made. I mix and max the colors as I please and I get endless foundation shades and endless blush shades. Again, best, best, best palette ever. Is the only thing I travel with.
I've actually tried to mix the foundation with the darker bronzer shades to darken it, and i found it pretty hard to control (especially with the tone) + the shade would get too warm too quickly. Just not ideal for my personal use :)
I’m a fan of the maybelline 4 in 1! I prefer it to the elf halo glow or CT flawless filter because it’s less intense but still gives life to the skin. The shade light medium has the perfect undertone.
I hate how no one talks about this… Charlotte tilbury old vs new is such a huge difference. Since Charlotte sold it I feel like NOTHING is the same or has been done well. I’m not surprised the concealer didn’t work :( I’m sorry!
I really like their new cream bronzer. It's one of my all time favorites, and the color is perfect for me. I haven't tried the concealer yet, but it's on my list. I hope I'm not disappointed.
Really good to hear your honest opinion of the merit bronzer! I love everything merit so of course it appeals to me, but I was worried about it being too balmy and I'm glad I didn't get it.
So odd! I get compliments on my skin every single day since I started wearing it. I wear a very thin layer MAC face and body underneath. I buff everything in with my fingers and only use a little bit.
I'm 46 combination skin I've been using the makeup for ever Hd face palette for one month now and it's working great for me . Smooth formula good natural coverage I use the under eye corrector then the concealer blends really well I mix the foundations and concealer give me great coverage!
I bought a couple of charlotte tilbury products because they are so hyped on social media but I have honestly been disappointed with all of them. the cream bronzer leans green-grey and can be used for mild contouring at best, the concealer is lackluster and the new brightening powder seems rough or not finely milled. I'm thinking of giving this brand a pass in the future.
omg how ironic.. I just put on my makeup forever all in one face palette for the first time right before you uploaded! I was already thinking how bomb it looks on my skin 😩 here's the thing though babe, you can mix in some of the darker shades to customize a shade for when you're tan! I have really dry skin and I think that's why I love the formula so much, its emollient and it sets quite well with the kosas cloud set. Makes the skin look so juicy! Right now I have mixed a few of the shades to match for my base, then I've mixed in a few of the darker shades with the lighter shades for a light contour/all over bronzer, and I'm using the blush colors on my cheeks AND my lips.. it's so so pretty. I also found to get a better coverage by using a sponge after I tried it with my brush. I hope you give it another try.

Hi Jamie! Just wanted to give you a tip! You and I typically like the same concealers, and I hate the CT one as well! If you happen to have the bare minerals serum concealer, I've been mixing it with the CTilbury and it's SO MUCH BETTER.
I love the artist pencils!! You influenced me to buy endless cacao and wherever walnut- endless cacao was WAY to dark to be a lip liner for me but it’s ended up being my ultimate favorite brown eyeliner! Wherever walnut is my perfect “my lips but better” shade. So good.
I was so sad to see you didn’t like the Maybelline 4-in-1. I think it’s a misunderstood product. I also expected it to be a dupe for CT and stopped using it for a while when it didn’t perform the same way. However, I busted it back out and now I use it by itself as a base product/“foundation” and I absolutely adore it for no-makeup-makeup days. It’s a beautiful, subtle-glow formula that tames my discoloration just enough without feeling like much of anything on the skin. I love this over sunscreen with a touch of blush and mascara for a quick and fresh look.
I have that maybelline product and mine doesn't have any shimmer. I use it in a little darker shade them my complexion as a "bronzer" and with some concealer, I loved it. I appreciate what you said though, products work differently for different people. 👍🏼
Have you tried the Salt New York foundation balms? They are customizable and I feel like you’d love them for your dry skin. Also I love the bold lip colors you’ve been using lately!

It’s not really coverage, concealing, or highlight, but honestly to me it functions as a filter. I bought it recently when I couldn’t get my hands on the elf halo glow (though here in the states the Maybelline is at least 18 months old, if not more?), and while it doesn’t work as a highlight for me, it’s great for days I don’t feel like wearing a foundation or a skin tint. I also didn’t experience the shimmer you mentioned, but maybe that’s something that inadvertently differs by shade?
I love the instant age rewind but I add concealer into it and primer before but it does cut down time and lasts all day, I have dry skin and add kosas concealer

I had the same reaction to the 4-in-1. I recently re-discovered the concealer that comes in the same package and was curious about the larger base product. Honestly, I’m better off putting the concealer all over my face. It would have more coverage (it’s still low coverage) and wouldn’t have the sparkle. Yuck!

I found that the lightest shade is pretty dark.
I wanted to love the Elf Halo Glow so much, but even though it’s a super pretty formula, even the lightest shade is too dark/orange for me.
