You look so beautiful with so little amount of makeup. I'm in love with the MAC concealer. It is so good and feels so nice. I'm surprised that not many people are talking about it. I'm in my 40s and I have dry skin. I tried so many other concealers that are highly recommended, but they didn't work out for me. This one from MAC is absolute perfection for me.

I thought the exact same thing about the replica perfume. I collect every single scent, but when I smelled this one in store, my nose immediately burned from the alcohol scent, when I could finally smell the vanilla all I could think about was how it smelled identical to vanilla extract that you use to bake goods with! My boyfriend smelled it without my feedback and he said the exact same thing. Such a bummer. Also, the Rhode Lip treatment was great the first time I wore it and then those beads immediately appeared and now I rarely wear it, it feels like sand on my lips and the color is also disappointing and nothing special.

Agreed with the rhode lip tint!!! I wanted to love it so much and all the video I’ve seen made them look so pigmented and pretty. I thought I got a dud batch because all of the colours looked the same on my lips and they were all super subtle

I absolutely love the rhode lip tint! I think the trick is to match it with a brown lipliner, then the color of the lip liner will cover a bit of your lips and won’t appear to be that transparent. Also I don’t get the gritty texture and it lasts really long - just my opinion xx
urban decay comes up with THEE dumbest names for their products. face bond makes me think of someone whose had surgery and their face is covered in bandages. i still crack up at the "naked cyber" palette.
I purchased Afternoon Delight too and was initially surprised how sweet is was from the description but I have found it layers wonderfully with other perfumes so it is a keeper for me. I have a roller from a local company in BC that is tonka, leather and teakwood that really works with this.

Jaime, I'm exactly the same with vanilla perfumes. Have you tried Dulce by By Rosie Jane? It's vanilla but the base is Hinoki Wood, so it's like eating an ice cream cone in the woods. Maybe you'd like it!

The afternoon delight fragrance was so disappointing for me too, on me smells like milk that went slightly sour, I read a few reviews of people who felt the same way, i couldn’t believe it.
now the summer fridays coffee lip balm (can't remember the proper name) is like the ideal version of what that rhode product is trying to be; actually smells like coffee & a nice warmer brown which doesn't look grey
The tea with the Rhode phone case is it was made to use the heat from your phone battery to keep the lip product as a good temperature so it does not get grainy
I agree!! I didn’t like the perfume either !! But usually when they comes out sth , I get so excited but the notes doesn’t match how it smell , I end up return it as well
I’m convinced that the Rhode phone case was developed to keep the lip tints close to a warm phone, which warming the tints supposedly removes the grittiness

That's too bad about MM Afternoon Delight, I was curious about it, but reviews said it was very light. You could keep it for a year and see how it matures. I know that's annoying, but it's bound to get better, especially after the vanilla in the base darkens the liquid

I haven't tried her newest release, 20 Bourbon Brulee, but it sounds stunning and does have a vanilla note. 22 Orris, her first release, is my favorite so far. I can't describe it because there is nothing comparable. Just trust her lol.
The only products I’ve tried on your lists are both concealers. I’m *older with very dry skin. From the way the WA was described, it seemed like the perfect fit. I couldn’t make it work. It didn’t matter how I’d prepped my skin, how long or short I let my skincare sit, no matter how I tried to apply it, it sat oddly, created texture I didn’t know I had, and caked on the outer part of my under eye. It seemed inflexible and dry. I, too, returned it. I bought the MAC on a whim, and it’s what I thought the WA would be. It’s thin, natural looking, self setting (I find this too), easy to apply, doesn’t emphasize texture. I never do full glam makeup, so I can’t speak to that. I tend towards finishes and textures that even out my canvas with a natural effect, and this fills the bill.

You might try the Rhode Glazing Milk….love this. I wasn’t impress with the Rhode lip balm either…..it was average….ended up giving it to my daughter. Thinking I would love the MAC concealer. Love the vid Jamie 🫶🏻
You should let that perfume macerate for a couple of months and try it again in the winter. I bet the Vanilla would be so much better if you tried this.

I matched to N18 but couldn’t find in store (I live very rural). I’m pretty pale with a neutral to warm undertone and studied the swatches- I thought NC10 would be close. When I swatched it in store, it was a decent shade match for me. Oh - but also- MAC shades are often listed what will feel out of sequence for you, the N only shades well down the list and not necessarily in order. On Ulta, it was buried down the list and may have been out of stock. You might try the MAC site, too. Good luck!
I'm so disappointed with that Mac concealer😭It would pe perfect if it didn't have tiiiiny sparkles. Just like the CT concealer - I was ready to love it but after couple hours of wear I felt like the coverage started going away and glittery bits started appearing/being more noticeable 🥺
When I first got the RHODE lip treatment I was in love and ordered a couple more. Within couple weeks, they are SO GRITTY! It feels absolutely disgusting. They are all in the garbage now!

As a 57yo gal with combo oily skin Im excited to try the UD foundation and Mac concealer. I prefer thin with pigment formula and dont like to set

Surratt uses the same component for its foundation as the Hourglass blush - I depotted it because it was so impossible to use
