  • Test done for this Jaguar S-Type 3000 fuel that has a lot of problem in its gearbox. To make a great job we made a test before and after the maintenance. in the test we made a flushing with Blue additives for the automatic transmission. During the maintenance we notice that the oil was old and the pan was too much dirty. After the test we had a better performance of the gearbox and the customer a few days before told us that he saw that the fuel consumption is less!! Don't waste your money.     Isn't the Mercon V oil recommended by the manufacturer in the Ford 5R55N gearbox that early s-types had?

    This is about the first transmission with 5 gears and not the ZF version from 2002 on.

    To drain the oil you need to turn the big nut. What you did was the oillevel plug.

      We disassembled the whole cup. the first step was only to enter the first additive.

    I have a 2005 jaguar type X. I was driving yesterday. All of a sudden the car made a loud thumping noise. The battery light came on & display showed gearbox fault. Any suggestions?

    Pour changer l'huile, il faut suivre la procédure ZF, il y a une température bien précise à chaque étape. Il est inutile de mettre des additifs. Faire la bonne procédure et la bonne huile, c'est tout ce qu'il a besoin. Si la boite automatique fonctionne pas, c'est qu'il y a un probleme avec la boite. Additifs ne changera rien.

      S'il y a de la saleté dans le convertisseur de couple ou dans l'unité hydraulique, il ne sera pas en mesure de le résoudre dans un coupon simple. Les additifs bleus fonctionnent depuis de nombreuses années dans de nombreux ateliers en Italie avec un taux élevé pour les taux de change automatiques.

    So do you have to change the transmission fluid and filter or not? cuz dealership says you don't ,but after a hundred thousand miles I believe that you will have to can you please tell me?

    Great video. I had a weird day today in my 2004 STR. There is zero kickdown in D mode. JGate mode is fine. The revs are there and the supercharger kicks in. So JGate all fine. But normal D mode and even sport D mode. And the car just pulls like a normal car at around 2000 revs. Can you help ? Is it a kickdown sensor or acceleration sensor etc

      @@PrimeTechnology thanks so much. It found it to be a broken kickdown pedal switch. New pedal unit on the way. Hopefully to fit it on Saturday. I will feedback.

    Hi,
    I have a 2012 xf 3.0L V6, bought few months ago it has 90,000 kms on it. I have noticed that if I park on an incline after the car is there for while when I start and put it in R or D it gives a prominent clunk sound.
    And on high revs when the gear changes I feel a small jerk. However the jerk is not there on low revs
    Do you think it has something to do with transmission oil or it's something else.

    Hi, I have got a Jag 2.7 Diesel 2005, as I noticed stopping is not precise and the pedal was bit stiff, I took it to the mechanic he changed the break pads and the vacuum pump but still same? what should I do?

      hi, did you try to wash the automatic transmission as performed in this video? The problem could be a dirty automatic transmission that works poorly

    Hey @Blue additives, ive got Jaguar s type 2.7d 2005. While driving at low speeds, transmission is all fine, but when accelerating there is a jump in rpm and i can hear some sound in transmission, also when driving on hills i can see rpm jumping again. Is that due to oil needing change and flush >?

      No, oil change wont fix broken transmission, this is just ad for oil change as it supposed to be, periodically, but when its damaged as mine, this wont help. Need new transmission

      I hope I wouldn’t have to change the transmission. It will cost a lot!! But have you changed other parts before changing the transmission?

      I am still looking for a worki g transmission, not worth changing separate parts as i dont know if its only torque converter that failed
