I hope you get a million plus subscribers, you deserve it. I have watched many drawing tutorials and yours have inspired me the most. Thank you.
Its just so good how you teach
Thank you so much for all the info !!
I was hoping I would find something like this ! Thank u. I have subscribed
Have you considered incorporating items such as a beauty blender, eyeshadow brushes, or applicators for your charcoal? They're fairly inexpensive, and you could get a large one that they use for body powders. In one of your shorts, you used a large wall paintbrush to change your texture.
As a guy I get the strangest looks when in the makeup department.
@@dannyestes832 lol, exactly, it's so awkward
I was literally just thinking about this today, thank you!!
Great info, thank you so much.
Really useful 👍
Thank you.i paint in oil,but you helped me a lot in drawings with your demonstrations

How do you use your charcoal powder for your portrait drawings?
Oooooooo i like
Dude came from ur ig keep doing this u are going to be great one day
That’s a backhanded compliment lol
He is great already tho
Well I use either. Box cutter or a husky... Home Depot or Lowe's has tons.of them. 😊
🤩
@madcharcoal are you concerned at all about the charcoal dust from a health perspective? What do you do to ensure you’re not inhaling?
I start with Nitram hard (blue) then vine ,then willow ,then compress . Though brands vary and have distinct qualities. So much to say
I want to start charcoal drawing. Which tool or what type of coal is essential or do i need everything
What is the sponge you use to make the Smokey bits??
Is there a way to keep PanPastel sponges from disintegrating right away? 😄
And which tape to use on drawings and remove easily later on without disturbing the art toi
In the image, you show color charcoal blocks. I haven't found too much information on them. Is that something that you like to use?
They are actually usually soft pastels or oil pastels that are colored, not charcoal. I use them sometimes but only for monochromatic works sense I do not prefer the use of color
So many people do not work upright ( perspective ) . I must look closely to see if their perspective is off or I do not adjust mental to using drawing horse or back of chairs.
W.T.F...??
THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I SHARPEN MY PENCILS ✏️ COLORED & REGULAR, WITH A RAZOR BLADE.
MY GIRLFRIEND ALWAYS LOOKS AT ME LIKE IM CRAZY.....
SHE SAID WHY DONT YOU USE SHARPENERS...??
I JUST NEVER LIKED THE OUTCOME WHEN USING THEM.
TO BASICALLY UNIFORM.
GREAT VIDEO 😁👌
What’s the difference in working with black pastel powder vs charcoal powder?
What’s the type of paper you use?
Look in the description of the video.
Thank you🙏
Many products have disadvantages or do not serve me well. So I customize them ( lots of things ).
2:30 “This is the thinner one and this is the thicker one “🤔💣🤯
😊😅😮😢🎉😂❤
I have the chance to get lots /tons of free art supplies yearly.
Please. Speak slowly , distinctly and loudly enough to be understood. Thanks.
I want to know what all were the items in your thumbnail image for this video. It goes by so fast and is interrupted with a commercial so it's hard to make out what you have on your work surface.
Lyra kneaded eraser is by far the best! I use it on Charcoal, Graphite, Colored pencils, Oil and dry sketching pencils like Red Chalk..Sketching/drawing, no 2 tool in my opinion, with pencil itself be the No1. Then it's the paper too on that very important spot. Fabriano Artistico, Arches Hot pressed both cover all my needs. I wish they made them in Spiral blocks or Sketchbooks, I would buy them in bulks!!!
Forgot to mention my favorite pencils and what I 'd suggest to beginners: Kohinoor Red Clalk/ 5340/5347 5.6 lead holders, (they call the Red Chalk "Russet Sepia" on their 5.6mm size),
For wooden graphite: Faber Castell Pitt Matt or 9000 , Lead hodlers 2mm TK 9400/TK 4600.with leads from the same brand
Pentel Graphgear 500 (0.3mm/0.5mm) with Ain Stein leads. and you're set for life!!
PS Those are the BEST in terms of performance and precision. No other comes close, even the way more expensive Rotrings, do not perform that good, as Pentels do ,and they don't last either.
I’m glad I kept looking before asking about the materials you use. 😁 you answered the questions I had. Look forward to following 🙏🏽🤍
Great video, thank you very much!
