I wanted to get the home pod mini cos of the sync but to hear that it doesn’t work with Bluetooth is a no brainer . I already have the jbl flip 5 and been using it for a year now .
Glad i landed on your video, im currently looking to get a speaker and im kinda hesitant to choose between "Traditional" bluetooth speaker or a smart speaker. I am in the apple eco but not that deep, what matters to me most is the sound, not really the "smart".

This is very informative! Definitely helps move the ball further away from the homepod for me. They may look cool, but no point in buying something that adds redundancy to what my iphone already does. Bluetooth speakers or just any cheap airplay speakers are the best bet for non-smart home folk like me.
I have a couple of bluetooth speakers, but don't use them too much. I have a couple of Amazon Echo Dots and a larger Amazon Echo for playing music. Like them very much. One of the dots is used as an alarm clock. Very handy and easy to use. Even if the internet goes out, the alarm will still go off, but just can't tell it to snooze or turn off. Unplugging the power from back of the device took care of that though. But thankfully that has only happened once. 😊
Thank you so much for this. I planned on getting the home pod for the last few months but the jbl flip definitely caught my eye. I think I’m gonna get the jbl…it just makes way more sense for me
I love both portable and smart speaker because I need to use to control my lights, laundry and many more and maybe I want to carry around then I take my portable speaker with me what is waterproof! I have been thinking to buy a bluetooth speaker but never haven't found a option.I think JBL Flip 5 is good option.I think i maybe buy that but not sure.I have many smart home things like lamp and many more. This comparison video is so good!I love your videos! You are best youtuber ever!ILY!🥰:) ;) :-)
OK first of all, your makeup is perfection in this video! (what blush are you wearing?) I have an Echo Plus and a bluetooth speaker, and like you, I personally prefer the bluetooth for many of the same reasons you mentioned! In fact, I purchased a Beats bluetooth YEARS ago, like when they first came out, and it was recently dropped and no longer plays. :( So I will probably replace with a JBL. :) Thanks for this video!
I got my HomePod mini for 75 in brand smart, and saw the jbl is 79 in Amazon , also what do you mean you cannot activate Siri on HomePod mini, I use Siri in mi mini everyday. Just considering getting a jbl to play music for some students at school, which I appreciate the tankiness of it. Without having to take mi HomePods. I feel a little confused after watching your vid now
It depends on the lens. The Lower the aperture, the more blurry the background is. The lens I used to film is the Canon 22mm lens and I film with an aperture of F2.
My JBL charge 5 has auto turn off that can’t be disabled. I hate that speaker. I don’t like JBL just because they haven’t released an update to turn off the auto shutoff for my speaker. Huge flaw!
I'll give u some flip 5 negatives 1) it sounds terrible for anything but rap 2) videos are always out of sync. 3) it only lasts about 6 hrs on max 4) no battery readout 5) no mic for phone calls 6) only has one driver and plays audio out of the left side of the logo 7) no eq app for audio adjusting. The JBL gets loud but if u close your eyes it sounds like $20 max.
@@biengiecamon7938 I got the JBL Charge 5 and I'm Impressed‼ This speaker has really clear mids, bright highs and good bass. I guarantee it blows the home pod out of the water.

I plug my iPod mini into my (20watt) power bank if I need to use it portable....

You would think apple would have the home pods Bluetooth. I had the Apple TV but my roku tv made it useless so I sold it.

This comparison video is too good.. Great work .. a perfect video for all my doubts
Ran across your video the jbl makes sense but the homepod mini is more convenient if you have more homekit accessories or if you use siri more.

Lo más importante era el audio y es lo que no dices , de cuál es mejor .

Thanks a lot for your comparison I will go for JBL
LOL. Comparing "Apples" to oranges. 😁
Hahaha I didn’t even realize the pun 😂
Could you do a sound comparison? May be in another video.
Nice video!!! I’ve been studying so much this is my first time back on RUclips, in a while
Off topic🙈... but, what exact setting do you use to blur your background? I have the M50 Mark II (I think you do also), and I just got it!
It depends on the lens. The Lower the aperture, the more blurry the background is. The lens I used to film is the Canon 22mm lens and I film with an aperture of F2.
I also made a video that explains what aperture is and how to get a blurry background: ruclips.net/video/CvGOINysbtg/видео.html
Thanks!!!🥰

Absolutely loved the video
can you connect both and play at the same time ?
No
I have a red Flip 5. Very nice speaker
Made a good point
This was the perfectttttt review 😩👌🏽👌🏽
She woke up and chose curl definition!
😂😂
I love the sound of JBL. Very reliable speaker brand
Have the flip 4 and it’s been with me all over Europe. If it broke I would get a 5. The mini is nice and all but just not for me.
Have you heard of the Marshall Emberton speakers. It's a very premium looking speaker
