Very good Brandon... As an ex-pat, I understand what it takes to accomplish that goal... I built a house in Puerto Plata 18 years ago... This is where I live with my family...
This is awesome to hear. I've been talking about DR pre construction for a couple of years. He got in when prices were the best but deals are still there. Learned something new about surfer beach nearby. Awesome video
I’m wanting to invest bin Dominican Republic as well. I recently moved to Florida and I’m see investments opportunities abroad after talking to many of the people I’ve met here. The house Brandon built. Is breathtaking to a fellow black man be able to show me it’s possible.
Its odd am just noticing your natural look Leslie.... Loving it. Just to put u on notice the harmattan weather is coming up. U might want to get your Shea butter from the north to beat the price hikes later. We here to take care of u.

I'm in the dominican republic..update..the paso has been very strong against the dollar.. Its strong..it's 53 to 1, when i first got here it was 58 to 1 and that was within 2yrs so i now get lies for my dollars ..biggup
Poor folks get shut down. We can all pull together too, by passing this very old personal banking action tools to empower ourselves against such terrible loss. Because at the end of the day the best revenge is success!!!!!!
Also Rwanda may be a great country not necessarily to live but to invest in because the President is unapologetic feminist and the da you step foot in Rwanda you can get free accessibility to business , visa, and great networking with other serious people like minded.
Lots of Jamaicans have also been scam in Ghana. Many of us are coming. It’s takes to long to get justice in some of these countries because they lack democratic check and balances when a entire society is engaged in class, caste, and many levels of corruption and inequalities. By pulling together you avoid the loss entirely and you get moving faster as a group of former people who have been scam. And you will not be alone. This idea can be building towards great stuff.
hi ! well my friend l congratulate you for your building a villa in the dominican republic ok lm from dominican republic but l live in New Jersey . and l myself would like to live there someday and to hang around with my friends there. welcome to my country and l wish you the best there and you will see that you will find good friends there step by step ok so , congratulations 🎊 and GOOD LUCK !

Thx. Once I get my deed I will have evidence of a successful land purchase then I’ll be happy to consult. As of now i don’t feel comfortable giving advice on something I have not accomplished. Looks great! My spouse and I were about to invest over a million dollars over there until we saw how they were treating the Haitians. Some dark-skinned African Americans are even being stopped on the streets because it's Haitian hunting season.
@@iAmLeslieJones Did you know that in the 1930s then President Trujillo of the Dominican Republic had 30k Haitians killed, while inviting German Natzis to settle the country? Did you know that the current Dominican president, Abin Nader, a Lebanese Dominican, just signed a decree authorizing the army, the police and other armed units to round up Haitians, seize their assets and deport them? The Dominican economy is very dependent on the Haitian diaspora and Haiti itself is their second largest market. There is a strong anti-black racism in the Dominican Republic to the point that black Dominicans (more than 80%) question their African ancestry. They allow Venezuelans, Russians, Italians and others in the country and kill Haitians daily on their streets, just because they have dark skin. Did you know that they passed a decree in 2014 stripping people who descended from Haitians of Dominican citizenship as far back as 1920s? That being said, I chose not to invest there as a black person. However, investing is a business decision and that should not deter people. I predict that in the next 20 years their economy will implode as they have created nothing for their own people. We can see that as their girls are abandoned to prostitution tourism. It's just a cartel of Lebanese, Italians and Russians running the show. Even black Dominicans are being arrested and deported to Haiti.
@@Immigrationking7609 that is crazy but nothing new. Dark-skins are hated and purposely sought after everywhere. There’s no getting away from racism and hate. The situation you broke down is definitely blunt and unapologetic but the statistics of American African men in the states being incarcerated for free labor due to the 13th Amendment is horrific as well. It’s just better covered. Regardless idk where you can go to be away from hate and racism. It’s even in Africa. Where are you going to invest if hate and racism is your foundation for not investing?
@@iAmLeslieJones I have become aware that you are an assault victim in Ghana and have no legal recourse. This is such a shame. I am sure you know that the black man who assaulted you would not have done that to a Lebanese or white woman. Since there's no recourse criminally, you should consult an attorney to find out whether their tort law allows for damages in such situations. You may also file a complaint with the U.S. Embassy, which will limit his ability to seek a visa. One of the key questions posed in the U.S. immigration process is whether one committed a crime for which they were not prosecuted or convicted. You can even link his name to sexual trafficking (a stretch when it comes to this term of art, but still allowing you to strategically bind him). You may be able to actually fashion your own version of justice in this matter. This may also be helpful to other women in Ghana who have no legal recourse in such circumstances.
Wow! Leslie It be your own family… lol how did he build a whole house and not mention it to you???? Why are people like this. 😮 Cousins!! And he watches all your RUclips videos?? Lol Welp sending love to you, great interview, thank you for the information and I’m happy for Brandon. But IMO next time sharing the love and the journey is also important. Especially when it’s family. No competition, just collaboration. You have a beautiful spirit Leslie Ase💓 🙏🏾 🌞
Dominican Republic doesn't require you to have a business to purchase real estate. Foreigners are allowed to purchase real estate with your passport only.
I love how he says, "hybrid" race. I think I'll start using this term 🤔 😅 😍 Congratulations 🎊 👏🏾 ✊🏾 👊🏾 Beautiful edifice ❤️ 💖 ❣️ 💕 I hope you consider building in Ghana or Afraka.
Like you, I am building a beachfront property in Accra. It's been hell!!! You should interview me so that I can tell the real deal! I'm genuinely happy for you and Brandon 😊 😍
To me it's not the fact that culturally other countries might take things slow, it's keeping yr word. If you tell me xyz be done by xyz date, I expect you to keep yr word. Cuzzo should've told you yr earring was missing 😊
I dont mind waiting as well but don’t contractually and purposely lie. Girl I went to the car with both earrings left the with one 😆. By the time I realized it…it was too late.

Good question. Idk. I just know it took 210k all together.
