Checking out the new Cygnus formware for the Fractal Audio Axe-Fx III..
Some strat tones with the Plexi 50W Jumped.
Sounnd pretty good I think
I am using the Super OD input Boost halfway through the little jam.
IRs are a mix on my own 412IR and one of Leon´s amazing IRs.
You can grab the LT IR for free on the Axe-change.
And please support Leon for all the killer stuff he does!

I don’t mind sharing as soon as I get it excactly right.
I have to make my own IR from scratch in the AXE. My 412 IR works alright but needs some tweaking.
And in this patch I also use one of LT’s IR s and I don’t want to share that one, since it is not mine.

Simon, you can even make a digital processor sound great. I tried to go there with the headrush. I've gone back to valve amp and pedals. i play live mostly, not much in recording. i just get the most inspiration from the old school amp moving air. It's hard to part with cash on these digital units with so much editing needed to learn how to do to get the best from them. stereo options with them sound amazing. I am going to invest in a two notes tropedo x. i am impressed with their recorded options of our beloved real amps.
I agree. I am an amp guy too and I think I always will be. Something about the tone and especially the feel of a real amp. I play different when I use real amps. However as a tool both live and in the studio the amp sims are great. And when doing clinics and promoting my album I can´t bring a real tube amp and use it as loud as I want to. In that situation the AxeFx is just unbeatable. And I can bring all my sounds made for each song. The end result for the audience is just better this way. Cheers Simon

I my opinion Fractal wins. I like the Kemper but never really got it excactly where I wanted it. It was nice to use on clinics and I did use it a few times on my album, but the Axe I used a lot more.
The Effects in the Axe are stellar. Cheers Simon

I use two IRs in this clip. My own and one of LT’s 412IRs.
I will share mine as soon as I am 100% happy with it.
