    Thanks so much for this video, man. I love your tone. I really like watching your Yngwie videos, along with the videos of Cesario Filho and Kelly Simonz. You guys have the best Yngwie stuff.

    great video ! you always manage to get great and accurate tones ! there's a way to get the Yngwie sound on a budget , there's this Nalex Plugin called Crunchman (100% free ), its pretty good if you pair it to a great ir , im getting some convincing old school Yngwie sounds with it !
    im glad you're including some digital stuff on here, maybe you can also use some guitar plugins in the future on "nail that tone".
    Cheers bro, keep it up with the great content !

      Thanks man. We really live in a time where as a guitar player you can get great tone for pretty much nothing. The best thing you can do to improve you tone is to get better. That is also 100% free. 👍

    That is an awesome tone. May I know what pickups are in the strat you used for this demo?

    • @ShredHeads
      @ShredHeads  2 года назад +1

      They are stock pick-ups from my 1990's Mexican Strat.

    Hey man, can you please teach how to achieve nightwish's dark passion play guitar tone such as in "The Poet And The Pendulum" plz? I love that "chainsaw" guitar sound and you'd help me a lot!

      Im not very familiar with that band. I did listen to the song you mentioned. It sounds like a modern high gain amp tone. Probably 5150, Mesa or other modern amp to me.

    This is great. Just needs more distortion

    • @ShredHeads
      @ShredHeads  2 года назад

      If you feel you need more gain I guess you could use the boost function in the amp block. I'm not sure if I did that.

    • @Taylor___
      @Taylor___ 2 года назад

      @@ShredHeads Aw right. Yeah Malmsteen uses loads and loads of distortion and two noise supressors but the tone is perfect

    • @ShredHeads
      @ShredHeads  2 года назад

      @@Taylor___ Yngwie's tone especially now a days is simple. Strat into a Marshall amp on ten with a boost on ten, with a lot of delay and noise suppression. Even Yngwie has stated this.

      @@ShredHeads Yeah he’s got his own signature head. Used to use two DOD pedals and two NS-2’s. I can get a pretty good Yngwie tone on my line 6 spider practice amp. I’ll share a little video later man.

      @@ShredHeads There ya go dude. Mexican Strat, Texas Special Pickups. Line 6 combo, 30 watt, Boss SD-1, gate on, gauge 8 strings. The tone isn’t as good as yours but it’s a similar sound. It’s all about how you play really though ey? ruclips.net/video/xE8e2mV_HKk/видео.html

    I would never do that. Play a real amp and practice dude! Forever tube amps and Loud Marshalls!!!

    • @ShredHeads
      @ShredHeads  2 года назад

      why are you even watching axe fx tutorial videos if you would never do that. Makes no sense, anyone who has watched my channel knows that I have a a lot of real amps and play them as well. No need to hate on people, be humble, thats how you grow as a musician.

      @@ShredHeads I was missleaded by the tittle. No hard feelings brother. I love amps and I still use Neve preamps, and old amps. I get turn on by the real thing. But everyone is different. I know is hard for the kids these days to pratice at home with a Marshall. I LOVE IT!!!

      @@DavidMoreDotNet I agree that real amps sound better and I do prefer playing the real deal. 90% of the gear I have is vintage amps and rack gear. I will say that the axe fx is a great unit and I'm happy to use it from time to time and make tutorial videos for people who use it.
