No way! This is like a dream come true - one of my favorite songs from Diddy Kong Racing remixed in your style! 😸 I love the bright, fun atmosphere you've created in this remix. The drums are incredible, as always, and I love how the hi hats have a nice sizzle to them, while the kick and snare sound punchy, but not overly so. The different beats you used are all really cool, and have a nice rhythm to them. Also, there's this really cool kind of clicky percussive instrument that's played a 16th note before each upbeat... it's really neat, whatever it is, and really gives the rhythm a lot of extra character! And I just love all the extra flourishes in this song, like the tubular bells and the wood blocks. It gives it a distinctly holiday feel! (Sleigh ride with 10 Rockets, anyone?) The pizzicato strings and chimes also help to really round out that wintry atmosphere. The change in energy around 0:58 is really nice, too, and gives the piece great variety. And HOLY COW YOU JUST INTEGRATED FREEZEEZY PEAK INTO A DKR REMIX.. phew, okay... 😅 Really, though, that was an amazing touch, and the segue into and out of it was seamless. Dave Wise would be proud! And speaking of proud moments, congratulations on 100 Subscribers!! It is really well-deserved, and I hope your viewership goes up exponentially from here.
