This has always been one of my favorite stages in Banjo Kazooie, and I've gotta say, I never could have imagined a disco remix of this song! Somehow, despite the complete change in vibe, it still feels exactly like the original song. It keeps its essence with that kind of whimsical synth you've got going, and that's especially helped by the sound effects going throughout the remix! The disco chords though are what really get me; they compliment the melody to a t! My favorite parts though are when you get that gradual filtering going like at 1:02. I'm a sucker for all the things going on here and I could ramble on for ages, but I think I can sum it up by saying: amazing job! Keep up the great work

Man, what a creative and cool take on one of the best themes in the game! I feel like this would be the perfect fit for a Halloween dance party playlist, and I'll definitely be listening to this one leading up to October 31st and long after! This remix is so packed with cool details and mix-ups that it feels like each measure has something different to offer. The sheer level of variance here is next-level, and I can't imagine how much time it must have taken to incorporate so many different instruments, rhythms, sound clips and effects, but a guy with your passion, talent, and work ethic can make it happen! I love that your music has this characteristic density, with loads of ear candy and changes throughout to keep thing engaging from start to finish. As usual, there are too many details that I enjoyed to list individually, but I'll mention some of my favorites. The use of record scratches as a recurring element is brilliant, and I just love that sound in general - it works especially well, with the eccentric nature of the track. And the way they're paired with Banjo's cries almost makes it feel like it's throwing off his groove on the dance floor! The way you've utilized character voice clips here so rhythmically is fantastic, and they feel as much like instruments as the sick collection of synths in this rendition. And while I could've done without the belches and other bodily sounds in the N64 Rare games, those sounds are integrated perfectly here, like at 1:58 in that incredible dubstep breakdown. Speaking of which, HOLY HECK, man, that was so dang cool!! Right when that nasty bass and those fat snares came in, I couldn't help but stomp my foot hard in time with the music. I honestly would have loved to hear that segment go on for longer, but it certainly was a treat, and the segue into and out of it was seamless! I have to mention also that the video elements are superb, as always! The thematic coloring for the remix title and frequency spectrum reactors is a great detail, and the spinning disco ball really ties the music and visuals together. Seeing the blurred gameplay in the background was a nice touch that sent me down nostalgia lane, and now you're making me want to boot up Banjo Kazooie on NSO again! Once again, _great_ work here, dopamix. Thaaaaank yooooouuuu for this frighteningly good remix! 🎃

Donkey Kong 64 is definitely an underrated one imo! Sure the bananas were annoying to collect, but otherwise, a gem! I love the variety in synth here, especially how it mixes together with the sfx. And that shift in dynamics near the halfway point, followed by the isolated melody? Love it! Keep up the great work Dopamix :)

So, the term "doesn't miss" gets thrown around a lot lately, and I always feel out-of-place using modern lingo, but like, seriously. you don't. I have huge admiration and respect for the fact that you prioritize quality over sheer quantity, and each of your remixes is an authentic gem. And something tells me that it's going to be less than 2 years before your next upload... but either way, I'll be looking forward to it, as I was this one! One of the many things I love about your music is that each remix feels like it was built around a concept and sound style that's unique to that particular remix. Whereas some musicians' remixes are recognizable by certain instruments, rhythms, or effects that they use, I think what's most characteristic about your music is the degree of polish and detail present in each track. I kid you not, I was listening to a good number of your remixes this past week (including my favorite, the best Midna's Lament rendition in existence 🖤), and it was just a stark reminder of how much you put into this hobby... imagine my surprise getting a dopamix notification earlier today! The instrumentation here is unique and thematic for this rather underrated trio. The Regi battle theme (and the Regis themselves) used to scare me when I first played Sapphire, but once I got over the fear factor, it became apparent how good this tune really is, and you've done a great job selecting sounds that encompass that ancient, eccentric, and slightly horrifying feeling that's present when encountering them. I really like the use of echoing, reverbed bells of varying brightness - it makes them feel dynamic and varied, and they fit into the arrangement perfectly. That bass synth is super bold, and I like the buzz and distortion it has, which makes it easy to hear even on small speakers. From bottom to top, every instrument is so well-mixed and has its own place. And while there are too many cool details to comment on individually, I do want to mention a few in particular that really made me smile: the chaotic, descending piano run at 0:47; that flute'ish sub melody at 1:21; the oscillating dynamics in that piano segment at 1:49; the convergence of tension and different textures leading up to 2:25... there's just a lot of flourish throughout, and it shows the care put into each aspect of the music. I love the visualizer style you used for this remix, too! Using the camcorder overlay makes it feel like you're witnessing captured footage of the Regis in some remote area, and perhaps it was the last thing this person saw. 😬 The different glitch effects look super slick, and I like how the letters in the title flicker in before the image begins to distort. It reminds me of the first Pokemon movie, where the footage of Mewtwo glitches before cutting out completely as the lab is decimated, and I could see a similar thing happening here, with how unpredictable and destructive the Regi trio can be. It's cool to see your trademark thumbnail style, too, with the hexagonal molecular theming. Again, it's really exciting to see you make a return to RUclips, and I'm certain it won't be long before you release another gem like this one - until then, my friend! 💛
