I am really impressed with peoples craftsmanship in these videos and just recently being a flyer of model planes myself I ran into a much younger young man at the flying field where I go. This kid had with him two of what he said were hand built planes from his collection of 40 some flying models. He had a red and white Biplane and it was awesome in every detail just a beautiful build. I asked him where he got it at and his response is he deals with like two dozen internet vendors and had actually forgotten where he bought it at. He had Cessna model too and that had some real nice detail as well. Being a hobbiest myself I know some of the larger kit planes you can achieve some real nice results. My stuff is mostly preassembled kits that don't take much time to get em going simply because I run a business and lack time for myself anymore. It's just lucky I get to the flying fields once or twice a year keeps me happy among other hobbies.

Nice! A Taube on floats?? Awesome. Don't see that everyday. Those Turbo Bushmasters fly awesome! Had the 65 and have flown several of the 85's. Looked like a fun day with a ton of unique planes on floats!

Over water flying is high on my RC bucket list. Currently too worried to try it out due to my fears of loosing gear 💦and not being cashed enough to replace total losses. But one day! I even have a design in the back pocket to scratch build once I get to it

The rarely seen RC Heli on floats, nice! I love float flying. The Flex RV-8 on floats is pretty good, but a failed front right float mount led to me getting a new one. After 3 years, the burned flap servo was enough icing on the cake for me to replace the whole plane.
