There's similarity between megadeth and metallica but remember the music for horsemen , phantom lord , jump in the fire , metal militia was daves music . He also has music in the song ride the lightning , call of ktulu and leper messiah . He was a major influence on metallicas sound being their first guitarist . He said he could sound just like metallica if he wanted to but tried to go a different direction but ofcourse there are gonna be similarities no matter how hard he tried to not sound like them .

This song was about the killer rabbit from Monty Python 😂
( All solos are mustaine on this record except on the title track , the first 3 solos on rattlehead and the these boots cover )
Just remember the song " these boots " is screwed up on the remasters cause it's a cover and the org writer made megadeth change it so only the 1985 original sounds good . excited for the next song , looking down the cross . I think it's a top 3 megadeth song and they have alot of songs .

for me an over 3 decade listener of both megadeth smokes metallica in musicianship but metallica has a bigger/better sound
