- LinkedIn is the place to be if you want opportunities to rain upon you, and it all starts with having a great LinkedIn profile. There are two considerations when you’re updating or creating a LinkedIn profile: first how to make it rank so people can find you, but more importantly you can impress anyone who lurks your profile. I have a three phase approach I breakdown in this video. Follow the steps (and feel free to watch or rewatch as you update yours)

At least you didn't use my dull profile. 🙃 I got offers, but my current job came from an old resume in a recruiter's desk that had no notes when she left. In other words luck. What I learned between when the resume was lost and found is what matters.
I would love to change my goal to side hustles. I have a decent job if I can keep it. But I would love to take my gardening skills or photography skills and turn them into side hustles. I invented a method to grow peppers hotter. But outside of a great grandfather who helped to found the industry, I have no background other than hobby.
To change careers! Now I need to get onto LinkedIn….Thank you for this stellar and informative video!

I turned down a 250k offer in the 1990s working to prevent y2k. But it was in an industry with an extremely high suicide rate due to life killing hours. I have often wondered what would have happened.
That's a MASSIVE offer! Y2k has so much fear and pressure, I can understand how that would impact mental health, especially supporting critical system.

I made waaay more in corporate than my business makes still. But I think if you're an entrepreneur staying an employee isn't a viable options (I was always an entrepreneur, just within companies)

Hello! How important is to have endorsements or feedback from prior or current co-workers/bosses on a profile?
No one is getting an offer based on endorsements or skills, but skill endorsements are positive indicators for search rankings (so helpful), and the can provide social proof to profile lurkers. You can ask for recommendations. That said, if you don't have them or can't get any, don't sweat it.
