Having owned a 13 foot Scamp, I found that the living space is only 10 feet, because the tongue adds 3 feet to the measurement! It is compact and efficient! I loved my Scamp!!💖
This home is so cute! I'm so happy to see more people adding artwork to their decor! I love the dowel idea to hold the curtain closer to the window. That solves a huge problem for me. I'm in Texas, and we're experiencing 106°days at present. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the tour! 💗

There is something so comforting about Debra and the other nomadic women she is drawn too. Glorious Life On Wheels mentioned her in a recent video and it made me realize that I wasn’t getting notifications of her videos. This community has stolen my heart, so many amazing people, and I hope to be in the mix before too long!

Such a cute space! So sorry you had your bike stolen, Joan. We had our whole 31 foot trailer stolen, packed and ready to travel, back in October. There are some very bad people out there. Never assume people are all good again.
That is heart breaking! How can you even estimate the value of of all that was taken? I pray that the souls of those involved in the theft are so convicted by the disgrace of their actions that they realize the cost not only to you, but to their own spirituality. Joan's got it going on. I love Scamps and had one for about ten years. Great ideas in her home such as the dowel rod on the curtain. It's so disappointing hearing of her bike being stolen!

Chey Jan, yes! It’s perfect for me😊. The cue for Scamps in 2019 was 9 months! During the first 8 months I researched lots of Scamps and listened to what the people liked or didn’t. Then I designed it for my needs. The cue now is 14 months!!

Lovely lady and great set up! For me id need the sink, but would want the microwave.....id have to build a shelf lol. Also would need a portable toilet of some kind. Love the Scamps!!

We have this Scamp but with the little bathroom where her bed is. Thrre is also a cabinet on that same side. I too made curtains for it! Although they do come with curtains they are pretty basic!

wow i love your scamp and a great truck, you look so happy and are a awesome person. my name is jessie and i live in Tennessee and i was making a camper like a scamp out of fiberglass and it turned out to be so much fiberglass that i couldn't get it finished. so i have now rethought the whole thing and am making mine out of wood. i know it is going to be a little heavier but i have got the same layout minus the top cabinets and i have just got to get it done because i want to live like you do. i have a 99 ford f150 that i am going to be pulling with me and i need to get a camper on it for storage. i am so inspired by your video and thank you for sharing yourself with us here on RUclips. i have to say i never even knew about a scamp until i watched another video of Elsa rah and Barron you might want to look them up because they are so awesome with there dog camp. they have been in there's for almost 5 years now and they love cold weather. i just want to travel and get out into the world and be free of a stationary place to have to pay out so much to live. i am going to do this and have my own RUclips channel and talk about my whole journey. thank you again for being so awesome it is so rare in this life to find like minded people like yourself.

I was going to tell u to try the puzzle mats made of rubber...I live in Colorado, floors r TERRIBLE cold in winter...I put in a new sub floor and used reflected then a layer covering my whole floor then full area rugs with washable throw rugs...awesome, cheap and easy...SMART GIRL

Joan, good for you- you’re my hero! Sadly. I wasn’t able to make a go of my 13’ Campfire trailer- other things too, but my biggest challenge was never being able to master backing it up. Happy trails as you create pretties while enjoying your surroundings. Blessings!
Hi Dorothy! Yes backing up takes practice,and the best advise I got was...go slow!! My dad was never able to get it. We always laughed “with” him! He would unhook and and push his boat back into the camp spot!!😊. Gotta love dads!!
Hi Julia, small is just good for me😊. My sister went with me to Minnesota to pick it up, I had it 2 days and she thinks I should have gotten bigger. I equate it to Van life...their inside demensions are the same😊
Joan, I Love this! Had thought about getting a Scamp vs a 6 ft by 8 or 10 ft Cargo Trailer, and building it up! But it looks like my small car may not be able to pull. So have to get an RV! Money wise, don't see how. ..I love the room with ur Scamp without the bath! But wonder about showering and cassette pottying. Also love how ur truck holds more more storage! Have u thought about making quilts to sale???
@@joanpringle7407 My plan is to start my nomad adventure on January 1 , 2022. I will be in Florida with family until Feb 15 and then will come to Pahrump to establish residency and to make new friends and hopefully find people to travel with!
Did your insurance cover your bicycle? I so hope so! A gas generator is a four letter word as far as I am concerned.... Your Scamp set up is so cute! Love the bed on the smaller end, leaving the large table for eating, projects, company, crafts, etc:)
Susan, I’m so fortunate to have solar and lithium battery😊. WA can have days of clouds! I pretty much only boondock so I may need gennie to fill battery. The last 8 months I used it 3 times and was so HAPPY I had it😊
Thanks! Yes, having the sofa bed lets me keep my table up for all my activities. I cut out and hand stitched 8 crib size quilts Sept - Jan for all my grand nieses and nephews😊. I paint there and draw pen and ink mandalas for coloring. I love 1,000 piece puzzles. I keep busy!! I really need the table😀

Hi Hope on the Trail! Yes hard to find Scamp second hand. I’m so glad I could afford a new one. The Clam is wonderful!! Yes, I bought 4 panels. Mostly I use the three around but the 4th gives me a shower room!! I love that!! Good luck getting out here...it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!!
Im considering buying a casita and traveling with my 2 dogs who shed. Does the dog hair get stuck on the carpeted walls? Nice set up. It gave me some great ideas regarding the pads in the truck bed and the reflectics.

It’s nerve-wracking the first few times, but you get used to it pretty quickly and soon becomes second nature. Don’t let fear stop you from pursuing your dreams! 😍

Chey Jan, yes! It’s perfect for me😊. The cue for Scamps in 2019 was 9 months! During the first 8 months I researched lots of Scamps and listened to what the people liked or didn’t. Then I designed it for my needs.
The cue now is 14 months!!

We have this Scamp but with the little bathroom where her bed is. Thrre is also a cabinet on that same side. I too made curtains for it! Although they do come with curtains they are pretty basic!

wow i love your scamp and a great truck, you look so happy and are a awesome person. my name is jessie and i live in Tennessee and i was making a camper like a scamp out of fiberglass and it turned out to be so much fiberglass that i couldn't get it finished. so i have now rethought the whole thing and am making mine out of wood. i know it is going to be a little heavier but i have got the same layout minus the top cabinets and i have just got to get it done because i want to live like you do. i have a 99 ford f150 that i am going to be pulling with me and i need to get a camper on it for storage. i am so inspired by your video and thank you for sharing yourself with us here on RUclips. i have to say i never even knew about a scamp until i watched another video of Elsa rah and Barron you might want to look them up because they are so awesome with there dog camp. they have been in there's for almost 5 years now and they love cold weather. i just want to travel and get out into the world and be free of a stationary place to have to pay out so much to live. i am going to do this and have my own RUclips channel and talk about my whole journey. thank you again for being so awesome it is so rare in this life to find like minded people like yourself.

I was going to tell u to try the puzzle mats made of rubber...I live in Colorado, floors r TERRIBLE cold in winter...I put in a new sub floor and used reflected then a layer covering my whole floor then full area rugs with washable throw rugs...awesome, cheap and easy...SMART GIRL

Joan, I Love this! Had thought about getting a Scamp vs a 6 ft by 8 or 10 ft Cargo Trailer, and building it up! But it looks like my small car may not be able to pull. So have to get an RV! Money wise, don't see how. ..I love the room with ur Scamp without the bath! But wonder about showering and cassette pottying. Also love how ur truck holds more more storage! Have u thought about making quilts to sale???

Susan, I’m so fortunate to have solar and lithium battery😊. WA can have days of clouds! I pretty much only boondock so I may need gennie to fill battery. The last 8 months I used it 3 times and was so HAPPY I had it😊
Thanks! Yes, having the sofa bed lets me keep my table up for all my activities. I cut out and hand stitched 8 crib size quilts Sept - Jan for all my grand nieses and nephews😊. I paint there and draw pen and ink mandalas for coloring. I love 1,000 piece puzzles. I keep busy!! I really need the table😀

Im considering buying a casita and traveling with my 2 dogs who shed. Does the dog hair get stuck on the carpeted walls? Nice set up. It gave me some great ideas regarding the pads in the truck bed and the reflectics.
