Quitting a stable job requires a lot of strength, courage and confidence. It’s a very scary thing to do because you never know what lies ahead of you, whether things will work out or not, whether it’s ultimately the right decision to make. It’s such an anxiety inducing event, that many decide not to take such a step and instead stay working their unhappy but “stable” job. And there’s nothing wrong with it either, because sometimes circumstances don’t allow to do otherwise. @@halee176 oof! Med surg courses are tough. You got this!! And yes! Absolutely, in the future I will talk about how I balanced the two. I’m sorry you’re not receiving support from your parents. It takes time for a business to do well, let alone artist biz. We're talking years be4 any profits. But you got something here. You're also a nurse...mental health... you paint...hm. so many possibilities. Start researching and find your niche and combine the things you love to do. That's what we call an unfair advantage.

@@a.t.h.art. omg no seriously same! I truly watched your entire video and found it so cozy and inspiring 🤍✨ also thank you so much 🤍✨
I love this video so much, Angela!!! Well done on your first try at sticker sheets. They look great!! (If you don't mess up a bunch of times, are you even a sticker shop owner?? 😂😂😂
Don't be embarrassed or worried about your decision. It's actually the hardest thing to do what's right for your mind and caring for yourself first, but it's the right thing! I'm looking forward to watching more and checking out your shop soon!🥰
Welcome to small biz world!
@@KamuanyaDesigns thank you so much for watching and commenting! This sticker making business is so frustrating so I’m glad I’m not the only one 😂
It takes time for a business to do well, let alone artist biz. We're talking years be4 any profits. But you got something here. You're also a nurse...mental health... you paint...hm. so many possibilities. Start researching and find your niche and combine the things you love to do. That's what we call an unfair advantage.
@@anthonyw2931 I’ll do my best! Thanks for the advice ☺️
As a new nurse,I can relate. You are not alone. ALSO this is so beautifully shot! What was the lens you used for the talking head portion in your bedroom/studio? The background was wide & blurry?
@@helloisabelsyers thank you for noticing! Haha the lens is sigma 24-70mm f 2.8 DN art for Sony
Omg what’s your camera, the quality is amazing !!?

The algo led me to you. I’m also a highly sensitive person - I didn’t know ‘till 2 years ago. I’m 30 now. Welcome to the club! lol I’ve come to love it - God made me this way - I’m also an artist and feel and notice things that most people don’t. It’s a gift. Are you an empath? That might also be why your job was so draining to you. I wanna support you - I’m gonna buy some stickers lol. Big leap, congratulations! That’s very brave
Sorry this was so rambly, I just woke up hahah
@@rocolas haha I appreciate you spending the time to write this comment! Not rambly at all. Thank you for supporting my small business! Sensitive souls unite! Haha

TIL that nurses in the US earn about four times what nurses in the UK do haha.

Its for sure a big step and I hope and pray you do well. I'll for sure buy MORE of your art in the near future. I myself have my dream job and some days, weeks and months get very hectic. Just this year, even though I've taken vacation days, I feel like I haven't have real time to breathe since June. It's stressful work and I'm not my own boss but at the end of it all, I love it.
I hope you do very well as your work brought me peace in tough times.
My advice to you is even when you're your own boss now, take breaks haha.
I know many people who work for themselves and they overwork to exhaustion because they want perfection. Be realistic about deadlines or anything like that.
As psychiatric nurse I'm sure you're well aware of all this but it's good to get a reminder.
Anyways, I'm here to follow your journey can't wait for more content!
@@beardedchild 😭😭😭 the way I NEEDED this comment lol. I haven’t had one day off since quitting and I lost 6 lbs already. I’m just so excited but also nervous haha. Definitely need to take a break…maybe after my next drop tho 🙈
