100% agree, just a masterpiece through and through. I got spoiled back then when the leaks happened in April of 2020 and it actually made me even MORE excited for the game since i couldn't believe they went in such a bold direction for the sequel.
I'm glad you don't know much about the story, that you haven't got/seen too many spoilers. Looking forward to see your reactions. Brace yourself, that's all I'm saying.
So many people just saw red when playing this game, and did not give it the chance it deserves. It's a long game. What people always get wrong, is thinking it's a game all about revenge, and hate. It may seem that way in the surface, but it's really a game about forgiveness, and there is beauty in that.
Are those not two sides of the same coin? 95% of the game focuses of revenge and 5% on forgiveness, it's still a story about revenge. Taking 25 hours to say "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". People saw red because the devs wanted them to, if it turned people off of the game that's a mistake on their part, not the players.
@DeepRest420 While what you're saying is true, my point is in the end, that forgiveness is what the devs were going for. It's 100% a revenge game. I guess it's both.
