We need more of your videos... keep them coming 😊
I had a freak accident a few years ago, a tree fell on me while I was driving down the street. Unfortunately, I don't have full movement of both my hands and wrists, I am limited with gripping things with my hands. I have just come across kettlebells and your videos are a great help. I only have one kettlebell at the moment, but hope to purchase more, as well as a few heavy clubs. Thank you for the great videos, time to get back on track and lose this weight.
Good luck with the training mate.
I literally got all the way to the end of the video before I noticed the smooth jazz saxophone in the background lol.
Your squat depth and form is phenomenal!! I've tried going that deep and I almost died..
just go 90°
so glad I found this page
Good video, ruined by music!
VERY distracting, when I'm trying to _listen to YOU_
Nutrient dense video, as usual. Big help for me on these exercises, thanks Mark.
2:20 amazing to build radial deviation for stronger forearms
Why does everyone
grab the bell by the horns and keep it close to the chest ?
Excellent instruction
When he uses a dumbbell he holds it horizontally not in the *goblet* position. Try one of these, it's better than a KB or dumbbell for goblet squats: ruclips.net/video/iLtQl-U5Gw4/видео.htmlsi=vzgyUfhQ87kTT6wH
Jolly good instruction, and very clear movements. The music is just the right tempo. Thank you.
Based on what you said about counterbalancing , we can do double front squat with two different bells ? I'm doing it with a 16 and a 20 kg . I just make sure to have the same amount of work on both sides .
Just getting back into fitness again, but want to use more whole-body exercises to start with rather than isolated resistance. These kettlebell exercises are great, so easy to string together or do as a tabata to push endurance/fat-burning.
I really want an adjustable kettlebell, as building up a full set is soo damn expensive! I miss having a full rack of them at the gym, matched pairs to do farmers walks etc, but just getting by with what I have at home during the lockdown.
Outstanding, thanks man. Kettlebells are coming in a couple days! Can't wait.
Subtle differences but important differences. Great video Mark!
Thanks, this has been really helpful whilst I am working out at home.
So what type of rep and sets do we do with these?
Which kind of gear you wear in this video???😏😏😏
I've had a heavy dumbbell for years. I've always hated using it and use it to anchor my coat stand instead. I'm much happier with the kettlebell. Easier to grip and hold and do more with. Still getting use to the clubbell.
How do you correct rounding of the back with these front squats? (Besides holding weight out and leaning back)
Try lighter weight, focus on trying to contract your scapula like you’re trying to crack a walnut between them. See if that helps
I love this guy
Mark, make one explaining the ktb/db overhead squat please!
i'll have to run a training cycle for that after my therapist clears me (i keep wrecking my dirt bike and those movements are currently on hold for me.. but i'll make those vids in the future)
Thank you Mark, a big help in learn how use the Kettlebell and why to use them!
Cool details, i love this excersize all variations of it. Got some really good details out of this video, thanks!!
For the BU Goblet Squat, I really have a hard time keeping my feet straight ahead. My left foots tends to want to flare out at the bottom of the squat. Any suggestions on the width of the feet and the depth of the squat?
I was looking for a great exercise for inner thighs-thank you!!!
Awesome video! I have been searching for many exercises to make my workouts more diverse. This video does an excellent job in explaining the exercises. Thank you very much
I tried the second version yesterday with 20kg, I struggled to keep my arms at 90 degrees, had to keep them at 45. Could this be due to weak biceps, rhomboids, abs... All of the above? I do have DOMS in my rhomboids and my lower back is feeling it...
Either Mark is really small or that Kettlebell is gigantic! Great video and a great explanation of the movements.
Despite the size of the kettlebell it's actually a 16kg - he's using what are called soft-style or competition kettlebells. They are all the same size regardless of how much they weigh. When they build these they hollow out the inside and depending on the weight requirement fill them with more or less metal.
This was in my selection, and I realise that I commented 4 years ago!! I prefer to use the “hold the horns and the ball upwards. More difficult .
Thank you sir.....
It’s sturdy and exactly what I was looking for without spending a ton. Very happy with my purchase!
Fuck every time I watch you clean I get more frustrated at how shit I am at cleaning. Great video, hail the kettlebell.
Thank you 💪
Thanks for talking about foot position, I wouldn't have thought it was important. I don't think anyone ever talked about feet back in the high school weight room.
Mark, do you have a video on double front squats? If not, can you make one? :) I can't find it on your channel. I think I've been making my arms too vertical and have my elbows too close together. Would be very helpful to see your dos and dont's for that exercise
fantastic!! but lose the distracting background music
What’s the effect if you do the goblet squat with the horn up?
With the horn up, globe down... less lever. You just have to have better squat technique already. The globe up is meant to make your technique better
I also grab it at horn up, bottom down. I have a feeling it's not harder on the forearms and shoulders that way, might be wrong though.
You are great
Really good video, thanks for sharing.
Brilliant.
new subscriber here... very informative
Can you show us the correct form to do a "Hawaiian Lie Down" and a "Double Reverse Blacksmith's Row".
What if I can't do the first version because of tension in my upper back and shoulders? I can't keep my elbows together, and it's actually my upper back and shoulders that stops me from squatting deeper.
Then do the 2nd or 3rd version
Yes! Yes!
New sub., here glad to found your video.
Wouldn't your biceps tire out before your legs
Well explained in plain English.
This is super helpful in a packed gym!!!! Ty
3:13 what a subtle literal flex
Wildman is the truth. Great information all time
Good one brother.
Mark when doing the single arm squat do we do both sides or just 1 please?
A both sides
@@MarkWildman thanks Mark, talk about working your legs wow that's a workout lol.
Mark what about if I hold the kettlebell behind my neck, is the exercise still effective?
Like simulating a back squat? It certainly could be. As long as you can get into the proper position. Elbows straight up... body of the bell resting between the shoulder blades, extended thoracic spine... Otherwise it’s kind of a weird squat/good morning...
Mark Wildman thank you, I appreciate and if you could a video about it even better, if not well still thank you for the advices 💪🏻👍🏻
Who else is watching for him to stub a toe?...
probably everyone
Beautiful
Thx!
Like your videos, good explanations. The title of the video however is misleading as these are 3 types of KB squats: only the first one is a goblet squat. Second is bottoms up squat, third is one-arm KB front squat. Cheers!
