    Hi andrius and G
    Yes a tour of the property would be great. As for the ring beams you'll soon be finished. Take your time and do a little bit when you can weather permitting. As for the fixing I would probably only put 2 in each length of wall plate but you do what makes you feel right. As for the building not been parallel what you can do if you want. At the front of the building make the wall plate run the same as the ridge beam so if it's 2mtr at one end make it 2mtr at the other end. So all the rafters are the same size on the front of the building.. The back of the building the rafters will all be slightly different sizes. But the front will all look the same. Just a thought.
    Regards John

    Oh, yes, another video treat from you two lovely people! I like the idea of an updated video tour. Thanks for keeping us all up to date with your doings, we appreciate how much effort goes into it. Good luck with the heat. I am super envious, would love to be in sunny (and hot!) Portugal now, rather than in cold and miserable Western Sydney. But I grew up in the interior of South Africa, so heat is part of my life as a child. Força, amigos, e boa sorte com tudo!

    The Irish Homestead had bowed and uneven walls and they created a ring beam similar to yours, (perhaps not so engineered). The wooden beam they put on top, the wall plates, actually went on at an angle to compensate. The roof has gone on beautifully. Carry on Andriu, you are doing fine.

    Thanks for sharing another video with us. I have two concerns for u. Andriu, you are going to fill the roof base with cement. Please consider the following 2 things;
    1. Consistency of each cement batch u make with each other. I have observed that different batches of cement when applied together or used to smoothen walls, they tend to cracked at the junction areas of the different batches all along due to the different consistencies of rhe made cement when they dry off.
    2. Although I know u won't consider it an obstacle u will have to make many cement batches using ur mixer AND carry it by hand up to pour it. U will knacker ur backs n have many different cement batches mixed with each other with the bars. The temperatures also have apparently an effect on the solidifying of the cement. Ideally to avoid these issues u should buy a large pre made cement mix with ability to dump it in ur moulds. The heat is going to make it harder for u guys. I know u r both very hard working and driven, but be careful . Wishing u both all the best. When u have time can u edit a video with the before and now? Highlighting all the improvements?

    I would love to see your video of what the land was like before and what you have done so far. Although I have watched your videos since the beginning, it still would be lovely to see a comparison. Today is the first day I realized you don’t have fresh water than you can use for drinking, so I wonder if when the house has been restored, will that continue to be your plan for drinking water? Thank you again. For your lovely videos. Glad to see you taking time to win in your lakes/rivers.

      Hello !!! Sorry it took so long to reply to your comment :) but here I am ...
      We are from Lithuania and Andrius left Lithuania just so he could do something different with his life and he wanted to try new country ..after few months he invited me to come there as well as I was his girlfriend then .. we were young so we didn't really cared where we going I told my parents I will be gone just for 6 months .. and it lasted nearly 18 years ... 5 years ago we started to look for different ways to live .. not relying on government and be able to grow our won food and just live different lifestyle not paying bills and working long hours ... waiting for next holiday to happen so we looked in few countries and when we decided to go and loive there is warm and loads of sun .. so we could grow our food all year round and have plenty solar power and more relax way of living ... and here we come we nearly 2 year's living in PT yes sometimes it's not easy and we not happy all the time but that's normal I think.. but at least we work for ourselves and we eat healthy food and our pets very happy they can live like that,. If you would ask me what I missed most form the past life .. I would say proper kitchen. sink and running water (from the tap) that's what I missed and I will get that soon so I will be one happy lady :) I hope I managed to answer things to you ... My mum thinks that we should live like normal people ... go to work come back home and rest and then go back to work again .. she things we poor but actually we are very very rich and we do understand that but not her :) Gxxx

    • @ruthconstantino6861
      @ruthconstantino6861 3 месяца назад +1

      Mites can be very very little, smaller than grain of salt? Anyhoo, the dusty debris can irritate your lungs and lead to an infection. Poor Sarah got very sick once after cleaning out their old goat house. It's the tiny tiny poo and dust particles 🤧.
      My uncle got me a rechargeable blower (for leaf debris), and the 1st time i used it it sent fine debris around the leaves flying up everywhere -- i stopped right away and ran for a mask 😷. If i didn't already wear glasses 🤓, i would've put on eye protectors 🥽 too.
