Two things I would like to say the first is the blue dot would work best if all the all threads was exactly the same length also have you tried the nuts on the all thread because cutting the thread should really be done with a saw as getting nuts on after using angle grinder doesn’t always work.Try putting on the nut first before cutting

I have done my share of carpentry. We usually just placed the board on top of the bolts and hit the board with a hammer, this marked the boards where we needed to drill the holes.

I am optimistic so I think you can move in before Christmas. If the weather allows you the roof can be up pretty quick, and then the weather is much less of a disturbing factor for all the other work. Perhaps the house might not be completely ready by that time, but where there is a will there is a way. If the blue chalk does not work for whatever reason you can also make a paper template. Put a paper "washer" around each threaded rod, and then connect all the paper "washers" together with some more paper which you can simply tape together with some sticky tape. This will give you a very accurate template without measuring or much effort. Keep up the good spirit, and I am looking forward to the next episode.👍

I think it's entirely possible for you to be in before Christmas 24, in theory all you need to have is a roof, windows and a door... Although Im assuming you will want the roof on before you do the floor to keep the worst of the weather off it (and you) The break has done you both the world of good, you seem much happier and far more relaxed.
