It seems that each platform got a different demo. The Steam version is about the mecha girl. Also, on the Steam page it says that we can transfer the save to the full release, so maybe it's the same on other platforms too.

サガスカが神ゲーだったので買います！が...正直エメラルドビヨンドはメインのキャラデザやイラストレーターの質が酷いです。ゲーム内モデルは流石に優秀なモデラーがいるスクエニだけに見栄え良く仕上げられていますが。
（魔法少女をあの酷い絵からデザイン変えつつモデリングした人はほんと偉いと思う...）
とにかく河津さんはゲームシステムの天才でも絵は目利きじゃないんだと思います。でも河津チョイスに誰も突っ込めない環境なんでしょう。この絵だと売り上げのスタートダッシュはまず望めないと思います。
ともあれ、面白いに違いないので予約しています。発売楽しみ。
