Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

How about doing an escort challenge, four players, one driving the convoy, two protecting it, and the last one attacking. All four must make vehicles for their turn to attack while the convoy and escorts are already made or chosen vehicles.
Can even work for three players if you want one escort.

Like a mission in a classic RTS....
my suggestion would be a amphibious battle/race with NO GYRO's or stabilizers.
You have to use mechanical steering for all orientations. and weight-blocks/ballast etc for buoyancy.
The vehicle would have to be able to go underwater and over land - no flight/hover.
Maximum of say 20-30 cores.
Suggestions include:
A OP-vs-Mini battle, or OP-vs-2 seater.
A battle royale, for any number of participants.
A 2-vs-2 ( 2 seater ) battle similar to this one.
A single point-to-point or 2 lap race.
A 2 lap Relay Race.
Bring Kan back, with him should be fun
kAN is amazing to watch and very entertaining, and much more mature than these guys, but unfortunately, trailmakers performs poorly on his channel, making it a non-viable option for content.

@@johnderat2652 I don’t see how fun applies? You can be mature and have fun. That was… kinda my point actually. I feel that I prefer kAN’s sense of humor because I find it more mature than scrapman’s or kosmo’s.

Since you're doing coop vehicle control now. This, but with a tank. No autoaim allowed, must be manually controlled. HUD off in an area large enough to let you hide and creep around, but small enough that you can find each other.

Here's an idea: Battleship, but with trebuchets. Make a big wall that you have to launch TNT over at each other.

2 ideas:
Same thing same helicopters but shooting ground targets
Two people working together to build their helicopters instead of 4 ppl building individual helos
Idea for scrap/ multiplayer challenge. Create asymmetrical gliders and do several challenges based on off of speed, maneuverability, control, and strength.
SPEED: do I gliding race from point a to be, first to get there wins.
MANEUVERABILITY: find an area with cliffs and stuff in a way, see how many times it takes to finish this course.
CONTROL: See who can land on something with the most accuracy.
STRENGTH: How much weight can each glider hold before it’s unglidable as in can you control it and can it stay in the air.
Ornithopters vs motorcycles ( both are co-op ) bonus round is most powerful build vs the ornithopters or motorcycles, keep up the good work scrapman! 👍
2v2 battleship with Co-op pilots and human-guided missile
A multiplayer idea for these kind of passenger things (be it now or after the update) would be a race, be it land or water where the driver can't really see (first person in a encased seat?) and has to rely on the passenger for directions....
....actually, scrap the race, Tank battle.
Driver controls the tank & turret but can't see so the passenger has to direct them where/when to go and aim

Day 8: Idea for Trailmakers cooperation challenge: two teams of two people each, you build a vehicle for both teams to use. One person from a team controls one half of the vehicle, and the other person controls the other half. Both people have to be pressing the shoot button to shoot. You make truly amazing content ScrapMan! Please keep your channel alive.🥺
Suggestion: A dogfight with no gun just who has the more effective thing to ram into the other

It would be fun to see a 2v2 Capture the Flag, 3v1 Tower Defense, or like some of the challenges you did in Scrap Mechanic years ago applied to this game like the build swap after a certain time.

You should do a pilot and a gunner but with submarines
Long range artillery strike pair off. 4 players, pair up and all players make an Artillery gun. Using the gun powder cannons and pistons (if that still works?) to give the shot that extra distance.
Then pair up and set up at long distance with terrain and object obscuring line of sight. Each pair takes turns firing the other person's artillery while the owner of the artillery spots the opposition's artillery piece. NO HUD for gunners extra challenge!
When the new damage physics is out, hopefully it will be better with bigger builds. If it is, do an aircraft carrier challenge with 4/6/8 players: one aircraft carrier and 1, 2 or 3 aircraft (helicopters or planes). Have no guns on the aircraft carrier, but make it the mission of the aircraft to protect it at all costs! (aircraft can respawn but carrier can't). Hopefully you can "reliably" respawn on the boat?
You should do guided depth charges, where you pilot a missile to try and explode a submarine

So what I gathered from this is that Scrapman can gun well, Yzuei can fly well, Proffessor is proffesor and Fungus can build- /J (All is meant in good fun)
The moment from 7:20 gave me an idea, would it be an interesting build to create a helicopter that can either transform into a bomb OR a helicopter that drops the fuselage as a bomb after which it can land safely back down ready to load up another "fuselage" bomb

I’ll be in Marines basic training in a day from now. I’ve watched your videos for years and love your content. I can’t wait to see what you have done with the channel by the time I get out :)
Idea: 2v2 space battle where the one controlling the ship also controls launching a guided cruise missle controlled by the other.
2v2 guided missiles, were the guided missiles are 1 creation that can split into 2 and have the other 2 people in a small zippy car/vehicle each and the team that lasts the longest as the car/vehicle wins.
Multiplayer idea, slowest possible dogfight with a max thrust of 3 powercores
Since were on the topic of co-op, how about 1 “AC-130” with a pilot, 2 gunners, whilst the fourth guy has the best possible jet they can make with 1 or 2 rocket launchers. Seems fun as hell, with a bit of a longer video due to all the rotations
What about Danger zone Air/Land/Water race challenge on transformable vehicles?
Every player should make a vehicle that's capable of swiming, flying and driving and each stage is switched via transformation (Not R+1-4).
The route is - Start on Aircraft carrier (Go to its nose), jump in the water then swim around eastern part of the island until first encountered beach, then transform into car and ride past the loop to the beach below bridge and go into plane mode to cross fire rings, after that you should fly in plane mode to western runway and then in car mode you should go again to the beach below bridge and in boat mode finish inside Aircraft carrier (Might need plane mode to get up inside carrier)
Video idea: 2v2 helicopters one on one team tries to transport a crate somewhere,while their teammate tries to protect them from the other team who is trying to stop them from transporting the crate

You should revisit building Beyblade with all the new parts and new destruction physics. You could even do one before the destruction physics with the new parts and then one after good luck.

You should make a 2v2 dogfight video where one person controls the right half of the plane and the other controls the left half of the plane.
What about a 2v2 co-pilot challenge where the players each have half the controls. Like, flying a plane where one person controls pitch and the other controls roll, or something like that
I really think that you can do good with the pvp matches to be an around 25-28 mins. I always laugh at your 4 man drone match and wished it was a bit longer. Anyway kudos
by putting sensors on the front of a missile and connect it to gyros to turn up, down, left and right then put a sensor in the middle front of the missile to explode the dynamite when it comes in the range u want it then use OR blocks to connect to the thrust when clicking a certain button for example space, it would turn on the engines and release the missile through the detachable block, then u have a self guided missile and to get even more technical add steering hinges to the up, down, left and right sensors on the front of the missile then connect them to the or gate so that when u do click for example space it would after release turn the sensors at the angle u want it so the sensors have a better chance of detecting its target.

You should do this again, but with autoaim off and pilot controlled weapons added onto the choppers. Maybe even swap the gunner gun to a laser cannon for a more realistic "high caliber support weapon", and so each individual hit matters more considering each hit will be harder to get.

you should've made it in tornment style. after first round fight not only winner builds, but also lost builds fight each other. to see which ones got not only 1st and 2nd, but also which ones got 3rd and 4th
You should make a challenge where you have to build a vehicle that has to fly using propellers or wings that it picks up on the ground.
you can do multi crew challenge, with one riding and one shooting!

Video idea: build a big airplane (like the Flying Fortress) with a pilot and two gunners and do a fight between the plane and a highly armed air defence

I'd like to see something more run n' gun on the ground, with teams. Cargo-truck vs Raiders? Raiders try to stop the Cargo Truck from getting a Shipping Container to some kind of Base

Suggestion:
Human guided torpedos, dropped by plane, vs submarine. Use logic blocks so that torpedos can only use propulsion for 10 seconds after hitting the water. Place a limit on both torpedo and submarine speed.

Video idea: build a big bomber plane like the b-17 and have a bomb attached to it that has 15 dynamite in it, then try to bomb a land target that gradually gets smaller each round. 3 rounds no block limit

You should do another 2v2 but with planes where each player controls the left and right sides, so thrust, pitch, role are seperate each side
race idea: make planes that can only fly for a few seconds, then have their engines turn off. use a speed sensor to turn off the engines when the planes exceed 120 mph. use emp's for more chaos if you feel like it

Idea: a twin mustang fight where there are two teams and two people are in the twin mustang and control the wings that are on their side
what most people do to their helis: they use two rotors one going left the other right irl: can fuction ( irl: rear rotor was made not only for yaw but to counter torque too) so if you want realism do that

Hey scrapman a solution to the disorientating part of the gunner seat can be solved by a camera block just over the gun hitting the perfect 150 but I'm new so correct me in replies if I'm wrong that's just what I did with mine. Love The Videos Keep Em Up
