I'd be interested in seeing the affects of stacking the stackable helicopter engines. Double the engines = Double lift? If so, you could trade out those upwards mini-thrusters to save on powercores.
18:22 you could put the angle sensor on a rotating servo and have it angle for strafing. Been working on a stable helicopter design that uses only helicopter engines, have not been able to perfect it so some advice would help
He can fly very complex creations but struggles to fly Chinook that he made,but Gets really good when a blade falls off.anyway perfect content scrapman 👍￣ᴥ￣👍

So it might be better to build in guns on your left and right flanks, and program them to have their own buttons and compensation thrusters if need be. So if you’re carrying Chirpos and get attacked by dog fighters, you have the required firepower.

Any chance you can make the airbone expansion thumbnails have some of the desert terrain at the bottom of the screen to help distinguish the 2 at a glance? Still 80% sky, but like, 15 percent% hills. What a great new innovation, totally not inspired by a real life thing. But you know what's not in real life? A race like the one I've been suggesting for 145 days! Day 145 of asking for a Multiplayer Monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot in the mechanic station. Everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, gathering their own materials. No glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races their builds
add another helicopter engine with small blades on top of the big ones so when one gets destroyed you have a backup and the small ones can fit in small areas plus you get more lift
I got the expansion and went to that spot by that crate behind the wall (28:05) and if you go to the right of the wall thing there is an opening you can go through to get the chest which has the anchor block.
a small tip for dogfighting if you use flaps while turning it makes you have a smaller turning circle, try it out scrapman but i recommend using only 4 flaps on the bottom wing so it doesn’t create too much drag and cause you to lose speed too much speed
@@squish_nerd on combat planes there modes for the flaps “take off” “landing” and “combat” the combat mode is used for during turn fights or dogfights to increase lift on the wings to give you better turning maneuverability

I'm pretty sure in those tight places with the chinook some roll control could be very nice. Maybe add a logic gate to the thing that makes you able to disable the stabilizer you put in...?
Scrapman, i have an idea to make a cone,(sorry but without wedge blocks :( ) flying cone. Then SLAP miniguns on the tip of the cones and the moddle and back part of the cone is COMPLETLY SLAPPED with a lotta rocket launchers
For the box in the cave its easy actually to pick it up. You need to go down there, and go around from the right side of the wall. There is an opening there.
Scrap man chinhoocks have four landing gears so move the back landing gear abaut 4 attachment points left and add one more next to it by 1 or 2 attachment points
In the cave on the opposite side from the chest there's a hole behind the wall just follow around the back of the wall and it'll lead to the chest. Took me half an hour to figure it out, flying around the outside looking for an entrance lol
Okay, idea--a vs battle between all of you--Scrap, Yzuie, Kosmo, Kan--but you only get to use vehicles/blueprints you constructed in the campaign and can use each once.

Amazing build. Wondering how I can show center of lift and the other ones. I had some kind of vase made out of balloons. You can get the chest with a single seat. Place it in build mode without any other parts placed. There are reasons why I am against automated map creation... Great game though. Many possibilities.
Question for fellow trailmaker players, I was playing the game and it crashed, now, I’ve been having crashing problems forever now, every single time I play the game it will crash at least once, but this time when I tried ta start it up again, I lost every build I made, due to “corrupted data” anyone else have this problem?

For the crate, just go to the right of the wall and you can literally just walk to it. I did it myself earlier today

Also, 2 helicopter engines cost only 2 power cores. The 8 mini thrusters cost 8 power cores.

11:22 your missiles arent as reliable because you are making big movements as you are shooting the missiles so the aim is off
At 0:31 you passes a green chest in a hole. Not all green chest are visible in the top bar. Some are secret.

scrapman you just get out and walk to that one. there is a thin walk way to that last one you saw behind the wall.

Looks like your helicopter servo's are only at 5/10 (default) you could remove the minithruster and increace speed)
4:59 You can actually use Snowball dispencer to create countermeasures agains missles becouse they can tank missle hits.
